Tip: if you are outnumbered or want minimal losses, send cavalry units first in a formation and keep others in a line formation in case some enemy avoids cavalry, I won every battle with that.

I don't particularly switch editors, since if I do, I will have to take time and learn and get used to a different editor. I suggest to just continue using whatever editor you've already been using.
Was playing it at poco x4 GT the graphics is good at highest settings . The only lagg i got is when staging the troops after that 60fps stable even at 600 cap battle ,altho it heat fast around 42°C batt temp so i keep it at 45 fps for now the sun got good shiny graphics and the troops metal are shiny too... This is already better than when i play mount and blade in my intel hd graphics wayback 10yrs ago lol With cooler tho i can run it on the highest settings without problem

Yes, you need to attack castles. If you conquer a castle, then the Lord of that castle becomes your ally. If you're a King, and you are at war, there is no way to stop your Lords from attacking, what you can do is hold them back by commanding them to all go to one castle until you can make Peace with your enemies.

Keep doing it repeatedly, every 30 seconds or so. They will go back to normal function after some time without orders, so you have to keep doing it.
