As someone that grew up in the woods with a penknife and machete and would of totally gone jail if I got pulled by the police ( thank god for canals) it was fantastic fun making dens and fires not doing anything crazy just enjoying making things etc ray mears definitely the greatest bush craft man I know no one tops him
A fantastic conversation with Ray Mears, His comment of having something to spark a love of the outdoors is incredibly important. He started my love when I was a small lad watching his shows on a Sunday Evening on the BBC!
Really enjoyed this. As someone in my early 30's i really can appreciate the knowledge that Ray holds and has developed. The series around Aboriginal Britain are so interesting and if this could be shown to young people in schools or adults it will help give us all a hightened sense of belonging and appreciation for this place we call home. Keep up the good work!
Wow how doesn't this have more views
What a pleasure to be able to have left a few words to be passed to Ray - pleasure to be on this show 🙌
What a magnificent guest. He seems really peaceful.
He is my God.
Ray is a top man .....
Great to listen to a man who not only talks common sense but has a true passion for life and the outdoors.
