I have lived just outside Wilmington for 8 years and have watched many UA-cam videos showing highlights of the city. This video is by far the best I have seen and is both informative and entertaining. The presentation is excellent the editing is first-rate. Thank you for doing such a good job.
Used to go to Wilmington often when I was living in NC (Winston-Salem). Went there the first time to see the "Dawson's Creek" sites and fell in love with the place. Anyway, this is a really really great compilation of things to see in the city. Gives you a great idea of the look and ambience of the place while also showing things to do. Good job! So many other videos fail to do the town justice. Thanks!!

Such a great video. Lived in Wilmington for more than 20 years now! Alot of history knowledge was passed along in the video but I was disappointed that he went all the Kure Beach and didn't mention The Fort Fisher Historical Site (Site of Civil War's largest Amphibious (Land and Water) Battle). I understand he had a lot of stuff to fit into the video but any local asked would have mentioned that site in a top 10 place to visit. Enjoying the videos, keep them coming/

Wilmington is a World War II Heritage city not because of the battleship. But because they were one of the major places where liberty ships were built. If you look in the marshes around the river, you can still see where the ships were built the USS North Carolina is actually parked in one of those slips where a liberty ship was built.

Everyone says the battleship is one of the most haunted places ever. T.A.P.S did a show there, and they were convinced is haunted. Supposedly, an old sailor captain walks it.
Born and raised here. It’s honestly not worth it. Tourists have moved here and overpopulated our town. Traffic is horrible. There’s nothing to do when it’s not summer except go to the same 3 places in rotation on the weekends. Crime is getting out of hand. Nice video… but if you’re actually from here you know what it is.

No video I've ever seen about the Wilmington highlights have ever mentioned the good stuff. Just the obvious few things on a brochure. Hilarious. It was so great growing up here with all the same activities but 40 percent less people 60 percent more Forest and empty waterfronts and 100 percent less idiots with zero clue how to even summarize what there looking at. This cat is comical to listen to. Laughing is the only way to not get frustrated. Sadly like the stoplights these folks just keep bumbling into this area and staying. Be careful walking around fourth street and that whole area actually especially as it gets dark BTW. Unless u don't mind getting possibly shot or stabbed while being robbed. We also have our local great white shark u can track on a app. The arlies are throwing up how u pronounced there name BTW. Do some research not just a video covering the tourist pamphlet. Hell u walked past Brits doughnuts. It's like number 2 in world or something.
A few things that are not true about Wilmington from a lifelong resident: 1) there is not much noise from low flying airplanes in downtown Wilmington at all. 2) the name is correctly pronounced “Airlie Gardens” 3) the waves are not good for surfing
Hey i was norn in this town pf wilmington, nc. However i have lived most of my yearss on this planet away from this town; I guess thats why it is a exciting place to be for me. Am in the charlotte gastonis area now and i will move to wilmington nc and retire their.😉
