FINALLY a cobbler that presses out wrinkles!! Omg 😳 bless you sir!! I’ve only seen this once on UA-cam and it was NOT a cobbler but a shoe shiner, conditioner. No one cares as much for the uppers as the soles. So glad to see this good man takes pride in the COMPLETE Work of the shoe and not only the reconstruction of the soles!! Beautiful work sir!! ❤from Tampa FL, and a new subscriber!
This is why Dimar is the best in the bizz! Thank you for sharing your work and educating the viewers on the whole process. This video must've taken a lot of time and effort. Great stuff!
Greetings from North Florida, Pablo! For the life of me, I do not understand why you do not have more than 4,000 subscribers. You’re very personable, you have a wonderful style of communicating, you’re videos are very educational and enjoyable, and they provide an outstanding platform for we shoe and boot aficionados to geek-out over shoe repairing. It’s just one of life’s true mysteries. Hang in there, though. I’m sure 100,000 subs is just around the corner!
great job, you do nice work. You are as good at teaching and explaining as you are at recrafting fine shoes. I liked the test of a good leather sole by no shredding of the skin side when sanding. Look forward to future videos.
Another fantastic video, Pablo. Thanks for sharing your techniques; I like the way you work and always take something away from your videos. Regarding the thinner you applied during the sole removal, is that Renia thinner? JH Cook has a Renia product called deSohl that I've been wanting to try. That edge guide on the bunk wheel is a slick setup, too! Thanks again!
I've ask a few cobblers why they are driving these threaded nails into the shoe on removal... Have they previously been resoled? I've re-soled a couple of Crockett's and they are never nailed from the inside
I wish there was a category in the patina thunderdome for aprons because you’d win 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Thank you my friend for creating such a beautiful piece for me to wear everyday at work. I hope it lasts my entire career!

Oh wow,now,that’s a beautiful shoe!
Yes it is!
Superb craftsman workmanship! One of these days I must get you to re-sole my vintage Florsheim Imperials.
I would love that opportunity!
Impressive work again Pablo. A question: do you ever replace the insole? How difficult is that and what’s the added expense?
Yes we can replace the leather footbeds. It's usually an additional $100
Lovely job! First time I hear about the new JR, it's really nice to get your insight
Glad you enjoyed it!
Greetings from Ottawa! Nice work Pablo.
Hello there!
I do like that you tell us what you're wearing!
I love my own footwear as much as I love repairing others!

Hi Pablo, question please, do C&J use leather board/fiber board in that shoes? Thanks
No they do not. Leather footbeds, wooden shanks, leather heel rands, leather heel bases.
Good to know thank you

C&J heel bases are attached with threaded nails using a heel wheel
Thanks, I don't understand why anyone drives them into the shoe, there are no heads inside the shoe from the factory.

Have you heard about the new VOC regulations in Canada in 2024? I saw things like leather dye and contact cements can't be imported anymore
No I have not
Must be another Turdo move to destroy the Canadian economy!
