Congratulations on such a great tone. I really enjoyed your guitar parts, especially the delays. I don't have a timeline and would like to know what subdivisions you are using for your intro part delay. Our church is playing this song this Sunday and I would like to incorporate some of your ideas. Thanks and God Bless!
Hey, thanks for the info! I had the dotted 8th dialed in, but it wasn't quite hitting the mark. Turns out, being a newbie to all things worship delay settings, I didn't realize I had to TAP on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th beats in a 6/8 time signature to nail that .8th vibe. Now, I'm going through all my patches and fine-tuning the delay settings because I noticed some delays were a bit too much - either the delay mix was too high or the highs needed some serious lowering. You can check out the service yesterday ( 1/21/24 ) to hear your inspiration on Promises ( timestamp - 1:18 ). You can also hear the first song where the delays were getting in the way of the solos. ua-cam.com/video/IPEVhJn7KJU/v-deo.html Loving your videos, learning a ton. Keep the awesome content coming! Cheers!
How do you get that tone so thick and full! I'm new to playing direct and can't find anything I'm happy with. I've got a Strymon Iridium, a bunch of good OD's and an Empress compressor and can't seem to get things thick and full, I always sound trebly with too much high end it seems. I've got a Gretsch with Fulltron humbuckers. Your tone is great here!
Thanks so much for watching! I don't have any experience with the Iridium, but I have heard other people use it and it sounds phenomenal. It can be a little tricky to diagnose exactly what you are having trouble with over the internet but I would work with your FOH engineer to see how he is running your signal and what he would recommend. Sometimes, you can sound great at home but when playing elsewhere, it might not sound as good due to how your signal is being run and EQ'ed. At that point it's kind of out of your hands which can be really frustrating. But a lot of the times, it can also be our own perception of our tone. To you, your sound may not be where you want it to be but to others, it may sound really good. Trial and error is key. Hope this helps!
I've had that "oops" tuning moment! Killer sound Ivan. I have two Sparkle Jets and they're awesome guitars.

Hey man! Sorry for the late reply on this. I'm using a dotted 8th note delay on the timeline.
Blessings!

My favorite part of the video! I always love the gospel movements our piano player adds 🔥
Did the church record this? If so can you pay link? Absolutely love this, it changes the whole vibe of this song
The church did not record this. I just recorded the morning that we played it!
Thanks for watching!

Prism before or after comp ?
Your sound is dope 😍
Prism is before compression. It's actually my first pedal in my signal chain.
Thanks for watching!
May i know your patch? I want to use it to our church. Thank you
Are you referring to the patch I'm using for the Hx Stomp? If so, I am using David Hislop's Bethel Amps patch.
Thanks for watching!
@@IvanXavier thank you
What key did you guys used for this song?
What are you using to record? Irig?
I’m running into a GoPro audio adapter then straight into the GoPro for this video.
