I'm a french straight girl and I'm a really huge fan of beauty, whether it's in men or women, and I would like to say something that I think is very important to tell. I was talking to a random man at the time, who told me : "When a girl/woman tells you that you are not her type, it means she thinks you are ugly. "I had to explain to him that this was not necessarily true. There is a difference between seeing that a man is handsome and being attracted to him. I'm not saying that beauty doesn't exist, that's not what I'm talking about. Beauty is a reality. There are universal codes in human beauty (symmetry of the face, quality of the skin, eyes, nose, eyebrows etc.) However, I have noticed that there is an objective facet of beauty, which women and men recognize instinctively, and a purely subjective facet which is the feeling of attraction to different TYPES of beauty. For example, I talked with girls about famous men that we found hot or cute.
And they talked about several actors who were attractive to many many women but not to them at all.
They replied with that quote : "I think he's handsome but he's not my type". This doesn't mean that they hide their attraction for them or that they prefer ugly ones, no, the explanation is that they can be in front of a 9/10 that is not their style and rejected him. But on the other hand when it is their style, another 9/10 that is just as beautiful but built as they like,(for example I love blue eyes more then dark ones, but another girl I saw back in the day didn't like blue eyes.) they will never refuse it. It is the same for me. I'd rather have a 6/10 that I like than a 9/10 that is not my style. And I'm not talking about personality or bullshit like that, but beauty. And these are criteria that can vary according to men, women, our experience, our personal tastes, country, psychology, age....
However, there are still too many people who confuse the two: beauty and attraction. Like my little brother and my step father. Every time my brother talks about a girl he thinks is pretty, I've come to notice that they all look the same, whether it's the haircut or the face shape, whether they're beautiful or not, he thinks they're hot just because that's the kind of physique he likes. On the other hand, as soon as I show a girl who is not his style (for example blonde in his case) but who is more beautiful than what he shows or the same, he says "no she is not beautiful". Because he thinks :
Girl he likes = beautiful
Girl he doesn't like =not beautiful
and he can't tell the difference, like me when I was younger. I have to show him my point of view step by step by showing him the structure of a girl's face and explain it to him. Today I can tell the difference, and that's why I say that I find most of the men in the video handsome, but I really like a few of them in a different percentage according to my personal taste 😉
I'm on the same page. Sometimes I felt attracted to an average 5/10 girl who is 'my type' but felt nothing for a conventionally attractive 7+ girl. I think the few girls who expressed interest in me (15-20 people) also liked something particular because I'm definitely not conventionally attractive like the men in this video. But the truth remains that men as a whole have no looks threshold, and there are at least a few men who find any woman attractive. I bet even Susan Boyle had guys who wanted to be with her

When it comes to facial features Jeremy Meeks is second to none..You have to keep in mind that those male models use certain tricks to highlight their cheekbones/jawline/hollow cheeks and they look more attractive than they are in person..Meeks doesn't use none of that + he looks like that without any special diets with alcohol consumption maybe even drugs..

God they are all gorgeous, but for me Ian Somerhalder and Hernan Drago are unreal. Like, I'd literally do anything for those faces. I'm not kidding. If I ever met them and they had it out for me...yikes I'd be in trouble. I also find Rob Lowe incredibly attractive and Ian Somerhalder reminds me a lot of a young Rob Lowe. Honest to God, I find it extremely hard to be attracted to men just purely from their physical appearance. Like they'd have be objectively 8+/10 which is just impossible they'd pick me 😂 but also, honest to God, I've been deeply attracted to men whose my first impression of them were just weird looking but then I get to know their personalities and characters and I fell in love with them and develop genuine attractions for them like I genuinely find them attractive now but now we went our separate ways and I'd probably never see them again and it's hurt so bad. And tbh a lot of girls are probably like me. They are extremely picky at beauty standard but they also could be attracted and fall in love with men they don't like at first. So don't bother about this genetic looks so much. Just do what's right for you (job/money, physical health, fitness, looks-hair,teeth,skin,hygiene, be normal like mentally normal, consume only positive media and link with only positive ppl) and go out and meet new people and find a woman irl, that's the key. Eyes, no matter what gender, male or female, can look very seductive and sexy with some smokey/dark brown eyeshadow and what makes it even hotter is when men break this dumb toxic label that establishes that they can't wear makeup cause is "a femenine thing", when in reality makeup doesn't even have a gender and it was used by men first through history. But my point is toxic masculinity is a big turn OFF and men breaking this standard is a huge turn ON for a lot of women, in fact, we see weakness in toxic masculinity
