Great minds create great solutions! It's wonderful how you listen to all inputs, then comprehensively explain why you are employing the methods and techniques that work for your farm for today. You guys could do with some walkie-talkies, that way you can save time running back and forth (time management). The new milk container, is it leak proof? If it is you could put it on it’s side maybe? It’s 11.20pm here in the UK, bedtime, so hope you have a merry Xmas tomorrow! ❤️🌈🇬🇧
Justin if you can get your hands on a insulated contractors round water cooler w the screw on top that may work to lower the new metal milk can you bought
🎉Merry Christmas! 🌲👨🍳🎅🚌☃ Justin the easy fix for your milk thing is get yourself and Igloo water cooler the round ones they like $30 at Walmart that milk container the new one will fit in it perfect. You be able to put ice in the bottom and on top of it or the sides of it.👍
Question: If you are only keeping the milk containers in a cooler to bring back to the house and then pouring into jars, that wouldnt take longer than the ice would melt even with an open cooler lid, right? Then place your empty cooler with ice into your walk in cooler with a closed lid to reuse next day (if it doesnt get milk in it).
Dear justin, Isn't it an idea to split the greenhouse in two sections with a fence that's high enough for pigs but low enough for chickens to fly over. You can also put holes in the fence where the chickens can walk through. Do with ever you want with this idea! You're the best, keep up the good work!
You will have to way separate them when she comes in. I would bet she is already done. When I say separate I mean SEPARATED, that fence will not keep a boar away, but Good Luck.
Worst case scenario cheesecake got bred and she gives babies early and might not give you as many litters. You can always keep a few gilts from her litter and breed them. Breeding back like that isn't a big deal, especially if its only for one or two generations.
Great video always enjoy! Just a thought when I am doing a temporary fence instead of the clips a piece of tie wire one or maybe two loops if it needs to be stronger cheaper then the t post clips!
If your milk container has a rubber seal and seals as tightly as it looked like on TV, you can just lay it down in the cooler.
Can you lay your milk canister down in the Yeti since it is so well sealed ?
Over the past few years I have delighted in seeing Jonah's beaming smile when he gets a compliment from Dad.
In 45 years of teaching I probably said a million times, "You don't learn anything NEW by being right."
Lay the new milk container on its side . It shouldn’t leak , it’s sealed . Merry Christmas
I would cut a cattle panel to fit the door and then attach it to the inside of each door.... that way you don’t lose your access
Merry Christmas to the Rhodes family and everyone watching

you don't have to close the cooler, Ice will be high enough to cool milk without closing cooler.
If he can smell her in heat, he will do anything to get to her. I am new to pigs but thought they had to be separated and separate.

With the gasket you can tip it on it's side.
