It great to see you cutting again. I like the day to day processing videos. I cant believe that Kenny is wearing old boots and not a new pair of Haix!!
I always look forward to seeing what you guys are up to. Good to see you both work together! Now....I got to get to work "buckin and splittin" wood myself today.😀
That was great! The intro music had me thinking I clicked on a German in Venice video! Same here for bar oil. I have Menard‘s in the area and usually find deals there, the last being Poulan Pro bar oil that was less than $8 a gallon this past fall. I like the idea of bio oil but it is so expensive. 👍
I use the cheap Harvest King bar oil. Just seen it tested against all major brands and it came out on top. Good day for some cuttin. The baby dump came in handy once again👍🏻👍🏻GNI
Good to see you out of the woodyard doing some "field" work. Still relatively new to your channel, not sure I've seen Ken in your videos. Hope he is featured more in the future 😊
Good morning. Yesterday, I was tasked with helping some friends fall a tree. One brother was there when I arrived and the other was gone. The one that was gone told me it was a tree between the house and the neighbors garage. The brother that was there told me which tree it was, the only one between the house and the neighbors garage. We falled it, and then the other brother showed up, freaking out. Apparently to him, a tree in the neighbors yard, behind a fence was what he wanted down... not even on their land. It was a fiasco. On a positive note, it went down right where we wanted it to, without a twig hitting the house or garage.
Hello Chris. If the saw pulls to the right, is it then the right or the left side of the chain that is dull/damaged? Does the saw always pulls to the dull/damaged side? Thanks Brian.
You better just put the 395 on a shelf for the Grand kids, Kenny...They will eventually stop production of them and you will want them to experience the baddest saw ever made in their hands one day!💪💪
Your right Wayne- he’s smitten now with that 592, you might have witnessed first hand, the destruction , I recall you filming for him a few years back, he’s a funny Son-of-aBuck!
Always very entertaining with and a you together. Always learn about how to operate a saw and how to cut down a tree. That is some nice dry ready to burn wood.
You asked us to tell you what we like. We just moved to a property where we heat my office just with wood and the houses about 50% with wood. My son-in-law has cut down some of the rotten and overgrown trees on our property and we plan to use that instead of buying it next winter. I’ve only used wood for campfires, so I like to hear all the practical details of how to cut trees, process wood and keep your equipment in good shape that you talk about with your buddies.
i dont know if i am ever going back to running a stock bar from stihl or husky, but the stihl i could get 3 or 4 full chains used up when hand filing. i switched to a laminated bar on my husky. i've run stihl and husky oil and tsc brand.. i found that extreme oil and for summer running, it just seems the saw likes it alot better. your saw sounds a little high pitch running, maybe its the muffler or just the small pieces. or atmospherics and just adjusted different than here.
I may have smashed my ms 462 so now I'm waiting for parts to fix that I now ordered a straight cutting saw finally....395xp should cut more straighter lol
I don't know if the power companies in your area are like here in Minnesota but if a tree is even close to their equipment and damage it, they are more than happy to come out and cut it down for you with their bucket truck
I file my chains down (if I still have adjustment left) till the teeth start to break off........Maybe not the safest practice, but the last half of the chain still has a lot of cut time left!!!!
Kenny is always right , a good chainsaw make a logger dry . Rooster 🐔 foot 🦶 on beaver 🦫 ice 🧊 or iceberg ice 🧊 make a relaxing logger drink 🍺 Kenny . Glad to see you with your brother Chris keep him THINKING 🤔 SAFETY and always put SAFETY FIRST . see Kenny moving his pick - up he THINK 🤔 SAFETY no crack windshield 😊😊. Kenny TKS A MILLION for your time make a great video. Chris is into E bike , power booster and ect. Now lol 😊
@@InTheWoodyard Sorry Chris. The PFERD CS-X sharpening system is what the Stihl 2in1 licensed from Pferd. Same tool but the Pferd is blue without the Stihl logo and colors. Super tool that will do the edge and raker with each pass. NOT for skip chains however. I have two for each chain type. Thanks for the note.
@@InTheWoodyard Sorry Chris & Ken, did not explain. The Pferd CS-X sharpening system tool (blue) does the edge and raker with each pass ( like the Stihl 2in1 ( "official" orange/white and about $25. more ) that is licensed by Pferd. Been using them for the two chain types we use. The Pferd and Stihl DO NOT work on skip chains. Two old men hard at work...we like it !

Awesome thank you!
Always fun watching you guy's working together. ❤ Nice load of wood for Eric 👍😎
Thanks Pat!
Great to see Ken again, it's been too long. :You two make slicing up trees look so easy.
It sure is! Thanks!
That hanging tree you were pulling down by hand is what we call a "widow-maker" 🙂
Yup, it can do that!
It's always a good day when Ken's in the woodyard!
Yup!
So nice to see dead trees that are not full of termite mud like they are here!
Yup...no termites here!
Great to see y'all working together!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day

It’s good to see siblings out working together Chris and Ken . A good load of oak. Keep on cutting
Thanks!
Good show, Good Job.
Thanks Guys....
Thanks!!!
Nice to see both of you outside and cutting. 😉👍
Thanks 👍
Once again, Kenny is in beast mode! Kenny has probably felled more trees in his life than most of us will.
Yup, more in a week than most will in 2 lifetimes.

I watched the same project farm video and now that’s all I use as well

It could be a worn rail too??? But yes ..dull teeth on one side can cause a pull.

Hello Al!
How long of a bed does the dump trailer have?
That is a 5x10 7k trailer
Nice job dropping that first tree. Where are Kennys new Haix boots??
I gave him some Huskvarna boots.
Chris, Kenny should have the 562 ported, it will have as much power as his 372 in a lighter package.
Maybe so!

While preparing my income taxes this year, I was surprised at how much I had spent on Charity.
I should point out that “Charity” is her stage name.

Be careful what you wish for!
