Had a buddy with a 2011 take his factory plastic bed liner out and in Colorado where there is no humidity it was a rust bucket, took mine out after 12 months old and was surprised to see hardly any paint left, fortunately caught it and took it straight to Line-X looks awesome
I acquired a superlift 4” lift for my 2016 2500 and it looks like your zone kit has very similar design with the replacement front radius arms, my kit has bilstein shocks vs fox
Dodge Offroad uses progressive rate coils and they offer true long arm setups where zone and bds generally offer a radius arm setup. Gonna be doing a 7” long arm kit on my 2nd gen soon.
I searched for this video as you mentioned cutting the tabs off the track bar? Just curious, why do this? I’m trying to fine tune my build and improve ride quality and considering buying a Carli adjustable track bar but curious if I need to or not?
Rad truck man! Your videos have been very helpful and motivational with my ‘17 Cummins. I’m going to tackle this lift in my driveway soon. What size was that big ass socket you used on your pitman arm?
@@ryan2546 hey man what extras did you order or reccomend...like adjustable front/rear track bar...index spacer for transfer case...different break lines or anything like that?
@@ryan2546 hey man do u know what the bottom of ur rear bumper to the ground measurement is we can do 31 inches in wv...i want to run 37s so im trying to figure that out
I don't know if you still check your comments since it's a 3 y/o post, but I after I got everything in and aligned the truck, I have a front passenger lean. Passenger front is 1" lower. I was googling and researching and came to a conclusion that the casters were off and my driver side cam bolt head was as far forward as possible but the driver side was directly towards the rear. That's how the alignment shop had it. Would turning that cam bolt head towards the rear fix my passenger side lean? I didn't see any footage of how you had your cam bolts installed on the radius arm. Any help would be appreciated.
Im Upgrading to a 6" lift from 3" on my 13' 2500 cummins LB. It has 22x12 Xd grenade with 33s want to go with 35s or 37s. Wasnt sure if i went with 6" lift if i would have to extend drive shaft and new brake lines. ANY SUGGESTIONS of what kit i should go with?
Exactly! I started doing this when I was 16 on my first truck. It’s always good to learn a new skill and you’ll never learn unless you just do it and try! I want to see more people do stuff their own and learn new skills and most of all save $$$!
I'm gonna get the zone 6" lift for my 05 Cummins and I've been been debating on stock size trims (17s) or going to 20s depending on ride quality and rubbing
Hey man! Question, i found a truck i like but its got this 6” lift shakes a little , would i get away with taking the springs off and putting a stock spring with a leveling kit to lowering it or would i have to undo the whole thing ? To tall for me but other the. That its the truck i want
what did you cut in the front suspension arms? is that necessary? do you have pictures of all the holes and where they need to be drilled to be able to install suspension? how many holes in total need to drill and where? thanks
How long did it take you and where or how did you know the steps to install these? Some parts you use hand tools than impact, any reason ? Or battery ran out? Lol
Mr. Ryan I have 1 question for you. I have a 2015 ram 2500 6.7. I recently got a 6 inch BDS lift with fox 2.0. Did you experience a little driveline vibration when transmission would go in to 4th 5th gear? My driveline is stock and I should mention that my transfer case was re-clocked as well. Did you have to extend your driveline or is a little vibration normal after 6 inch lift? Thanks
Did you get the T-case index kit or transfer case indexing ring kit? Looking into buying the kit for my truck But I want to know how vital it is to get and install those kits are
Ryan I dunno if you'll read this because its a old vid but I gotta ask. I swore you did the 6.5 zone with a 2in spacer kit. I have the same lift but want to add 2in more to fit 38s. Any advice?
What's the exact models of impact tools used I'm seeing two Amazon Links would be nice cheers all tool Link used would also help but impact's are the priority thanks
Did you ever install transfer case index ring? Or have you noticed a vibration..... I’m thinking of this kit and was wondering thanks for the videos love the truck man.....
Just put this exact same lift on my 2014 ram 2500. I have 0 offset 20”x10” rims...I was wondering do you think 40’s would fit with some trimming? Or should I do 37/38”?
Dang am really shocked hella money on her spent... well it’s not mine 100% yet been over 15+ yrs since 4-5 yrs old I remember my dad has a 03 Dodge gas 1500 it’s a blue color it’s just stock no lifted anything am going to change that soon enough and wish it was a 4x4 but it’s not but anyways you really inspire me I have very to little knowledge about trucks but man respect🙏🏽👌I’ll soon be in your place and yes I work in construction earn enough to buy a brand new 18 model truck but nah I rather stick to a normal car hate the “new tech” bs like the og everything.. but seen your newer vids you have been posting and man what she is sick🤟🏽👌
Awesome fucking truck!! watched a few videos didnt subscribe then saw you actually doing the work and this dude is awesome so hit the button!! keep up the great videos!!!!!
I am guessing you are a diesel mechanic. Makes sense if you went diesel to VW and back. The VW must have been diesel. And a diesel mechanic makes good money.
I INSTALLED SAME LIFT ON MY TRUCK. NOW I HAVE A NASTY CLANKING RATTLE OVER BUMPS FROM THE REAR. INSTALLING THE REAR COMPONENTS IS PRETTY STRAIGHT FORWARD. IS THERE SOMETHING I COULD HAVE OVERLOOKED W/ THE SPRINGS? IVE GONE OVER ALL THE FASTENERS TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE TIGHTENED. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! THANKS
You’re not the only one! I’ve heard a couple guys and me too have that noise! Mine isn’t exactly a clank sounds sounds like something is knocking into another and everything is tight, do you have the axel hop shock atop the middle of the axel?
RYAN MAYER totally slipped my mind that I had asked you about this!! I still have the noise and went back to your vid to rewatch it. Read the comments and saw mine... but no I don’t have the hop shock. Is that what you think I may need?
How much would this cost to have it done? I have a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab V-8 Hemi and I want atleast a six inch lift for the front and maybe 5-5.5 for the back. Any price estimates?
Dude. Nice ride! You’re a tech man, safety glasses, idgaf no lift is worth an eye! I subbed man, glad i found this channel! Phil
I know I know I shoulda put my face shield back on! I risked it when I shouldn’t have! Only get one set of eyes!
Glad you’ve come aboard more to come! :)

Great vid! I’m doin a 4” mcgaughys on my 18 ram today.
Full LED conversion, and stubby antennae next, then rims and tires.
White rocklights to light up your suspension and LED everything also a light bar in the bumper gap
I love the fox 2.0 I have them on my 2010 f150 and on my 2011 f350 single wheel super duty and both of the trucks ride like a dream
crazy to see how far things have come in 2 years
This helped show me how to remove my lift, thanks again.
This truck build is gonna be sick!
I can’t wait! 😎
I acquired a superlift 4” lift for my 2016 2500 and it looks like your zone kit has very similar design with the replacement front radius arms, my kit has bilstein shocks vs fox
Why are the body pieces under the headlights black? Truck looks awesome!!!
It's something they do with the lower production colors. Crazy they don't color the pieces under the lights right?
Dodge Offroad uses progressive rate coils and they offer true long arm setups where zone and bds generally offer a radius arm setup. Gonna be doing a 7” long arm kit on my 2nd gen soon.
I just did the exact same set up on my dually. Only difference is I ran resivor on the front. 37s are going to make it look huge
Looks sick bro. What a difference and sick mod. Looking forward to the wheel set up. Perfect
I’m excited as you are!
The kit looks great I am installing mine soon
Nice truck bud. I have a 2018 ram 2500. 6.4l with the 5.5in zone lift kit. I wanted to ask if u can help me find the fox shock that will fit.
Well done Ryan. Great video!
Badass bro can’t wait till you get a nice wheel and tire setup
Right! These wheels need to come in ASAP!
I ended up doing a 12inch lift on my 5.9 24v 6speed manual 2007 ram 3500 megacab longbed. Has 38x15.50R22x14 -44
6 vids in. Awesome truck
Nice rig! Can't wait to see it when it's done!!!
Me too!
What music is that??? Starts at 5:34! Thank you!!!!!!
Great looking truck , great video.

Get ADD stealth or venom bumpers.
Easy when you have a twin post lift. Let’s see you install the lift on the ground with a floor jack and jack stands
12:00 So basically you forgot leg 🦵 day lol (I’m doing a simular lift. Awesome video.)
I'm impressed
😎😎😎
Did
Rad truck man! Your videos have been very helpful and motivational with my ‘17 Cummins. I’m going to tackle this lift in my driveway soon. What size was that big ass socket you used on your pitman arm?
Oh I love the color!!!!
That’s right 🔥 gotta be different
@@ryan2546 hey man what extras did you order or reccomend...like adjustable front/rear track bar...index spacer for transfer case...different break lines or anything like that?
ride4pain2344 for the 6.5” nothing ,if you plan on running a leveling kit and the lift get the indexing ring and trac bars 🤙🏼

NICE RIDE 👍

I’ve always heard you have to get an alignment done when you do a lift. Did you? Any truth to that?
Great job, looks awesome, nice to see you do it yourself unlike these other you tubers that don't know shit

PROTO FUZZY 18X9’s are actually pretty good for your generation.
I need to learn plus buy the tools to be able to do stuff like this. I’m jealous.
Did you need to buy the extras that are offered with the kit. Like the Carrier Bearing Drop Kit PN and the T-Case Indexing Ring Kit?
Monster video man , it's what I do all day too at Scorpion Motorsports 🎰💪🏼🌵💚😷🔧✨🏁
It’s never big enough...😈😈😈
hello, good afternoon, one question, is it necessary to put the steering stabilizer in 6.5 lift kit
Nice 👍 "the hulk"
Did you end up doing the transfer case index ring kit? If not do you feel a vibration over 35mph in four wheel drive?
Love zone suspension
Me too!

Badass... Any issues with front driveline vibes? Didn’t look like you installed an indexing kit.
Nope!!! No indexing kit
Nice. Putting my zone 6.5 on this weekend on my 18 megacab. Went with this lift kit after watching your install. Love the color.
What colors the mega!!!
Lol it’s boring white 🤣. Next is color matching the damn chrome. Watched your vid on that too. Good stuff!!
vinceblas white still looks fresh with black wheels!!!

I ordered the zone 6" kit with UCA and rancho rs7000 series shocks all around for my '13 ram 1500. How do you like the 6.5 kit for the 2500?
Ryan I dunno if you'll read this because its a old vid but I gotta ask. I swore you did the 6.5 zone with a 2in spacer kit. I have the same lift but want to add 2in more to fit 38s. Any advice?
Looks good bro
Thanks Jamie!
Grt vid. Is it a must to switch tires if you get your truck lifted to that height and link for the lift kit please
I have a one eyed buddy who doesn’t believe in safety glasses either, well maybe now he does with the one eye and all..
Love the videoes bro keep it uppop
Imma keep grinding don’t you worry 😎
Is there any cross member swap or indexing ring?
hey will 40s fit without rubbing i bought that zone 6.5 lift

Did you ever install transfer case index ring? Or have you noticed a vibration..... I’m thinking of this kit and was wondering thanks for the videos love the truck man.....
chris yates I did not install it! At about 65 on the highway in 4x4 (which is never) you can feel a little
RYAN MAYER awesome thanks for the quick response and keep the videos coming man
Beast
Need to change that chrome grill and bumpers
Did the lift leave your truck higher in the front?
Just put this exact same lift on my 2014 ram 2500. I have 0 offset 20”x10” rims...I was wondering do you think 40’s would fit with some trimming? Or should I do 37/38”?

How big are the fox shocks
You should of got the lift powder coated lime green or like purple
I know purple was tempting me! Maybe down the road 😈
What did you do with this 6.5 lift after you went higher?
Ever go back an watch from beginning yup I'm doing it
I am guessing you are a diesel mechanic. Makes sense if you went diesel to VW and back. The VW must have been diesel. And a diesel mechanic makes good money.
Where did you get. That gearwrench socket wrench set can’t find that anywhere online bro is that all one set!

Have you ever been to Ram ranch? Do you happen to know a Grant MacDonald?
Respect
Literally just did the same kit on my truck
😧🚔🎁🎊🎃
Can you link that exact kit I can’t figure out which one it is
Do you happen to know the size of the socket needed to remove the pitman arm?
How much would this cost to have it done? I have a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab V-8 Hemi and I want atleast a six inch lift for the front and maybe 5-5.5 for the back. Any price estimates?
The kit plus shop labor which avg is about $100/hour whatever the kit calls for on install is about how much you’ll pay in labor
Where is the link for the lift?
Is there a link for this kit??
What about a truck that comes with air bags in the rear?
Did you find a kit for your truck with air bags
Did u have clock your transfer case? Or have any vibration?
Nope!!!
I regret not getting my 6.5 lift powder coated
Sick wheels and tires
keeping it low. Smart move
Sucks to work on it like that but easiest safest way to get it done!
I have the ram3500 dually I need a different lift kit?
you need beefier tie rods so yours dont snap
How much??💸
I know you know what you're doing but can't believe you didn't wear safety glasses while drilling into the frame
Does anyone know the sizes of the socket to remove the pitman arm?
Hay man where i can find this parts for a 2011 cummins 6.7
Yo tengo esto pero no me queda bien
I want to lift my ram ecodicel 1500 what can you tell me to use
Make sure to change ring and pinion gears or u will destroy transmission
Hi can you tell me what size socket is the pit man arm nut ? Thanks
I believe it’s like a 46 MM I was using standard sockets bc that’s what I had
