- At 10:21 UT (4:21AM Local Time) on 7/28/22, an Earth-grazing meteor entered the atmosphere to the West of Eagle, ID. It slowly moved from west to east just north of my location. 3 separate cameras captured the meteor as it flew across. Totaling 40 seconds of total hang time, this is one of the longest meteors I've EVER seen, let alone captured. Captured with an AMS AllSky7 camera system.
Awesome video. Thanks for taking the time to stack the images and sharing it with us 🌠
This is absolutely legendary
ok metor has a GPS tracking system i guess ??
Awesome video.
Amazing!
i currently have several cameras that watch the sky. i am planning to build a device that contains multiple cameras like the one i see you have. do you have any documentation on yours that i could look at as i design my collector? i am a retired aerospace engineer and has learned that the best place to start a design is with a survey of what is already created that is similar to what you are trying to build. i saw a couple of pics of your system on a tv clip from your local tv station. thanks. dennis
Hi there, I purchased mine from AMS AllSkyCams, you can see if they have some specifications on their website?
@@JordanRagsdale thanks... do you like the system you use? would you buy it again?
Absolutely! It's spendy, but the software and support are priceless, and most of the price you pay goes towards the hardware. If you want a project to invest a TON of time into, you might be able to come up with something even half as good. It's a robust product and has lots of feature.
wrong title.
