Bro you just explained everything in a nut shell. I wish I found this video 6 months ago. I ended things with a Scorpio woman recently, so I know to be very patient with her as much as possible. I don't know what age you guys are in and I can only speak for myself but generally speaking I can only suggest: Have interesting conversations, be honest, be real. if there is some basic physical attraction it shouldn't be TOO hard if the chemistry is right (keyword here. chemistry and feeling connected is a MAJOR thing for me) also don't overthink it. When I was younger, I find I was more of an eagle and occasionally but rarely a scorpion. I however stopped my eagle and scorpion ways as a whole when I turned 16. I became a phoenix, since then, (I'm 25 now) I've only been a phoenix and tbh it's been hell and heaven at once. I like to add one detail as to my experience as Scorpio and my relation with fire signs, I think in romantic relationships, there is a level of maturity required. Perhaps so that fire sign past age 40 has potentially a stronger, more potent and a more bonding quality for this coupling. In my opinion as a scorpio who has interacted with Leos, there can be a very strong mental, emotional, and spiritual tie that happens. I feel like it's because both signs are so passionate and unyielding that they can respect and build off each other. Overall leos have very trusting hearts and can teach scorpios about trust. Scorpios can ease the fire in a Leo's heart and buffer them so they may burn longer and longer :)

I'm a Scorpio and my husband is a Leo. He has taught me to stop worrying so much about the little things and to focus more on being happy and positive. I have taught him to realize that not everything is about him and to try and be a little more understanding. His temper has definitely improved quite a bit from when we first met and my bad moods are not as frequent as they used to be. We are both a constant work in progress and although when we fight, we are both very stubborn but our fights are not serious and very few and far between compared to the first few months of our relationship. We are very happy together and it's pretty interesting to see our similarities and differences. I'm a Scorpio sun on Sag cusp with Sag moon. I am not attracted to Cancer or Pisces at all. I am currently with a Leo sun with Sag moon. He is incredibly passionate, loyal, and very loving.
My no.1 rival since childhood is a Leo. I find him very irritating. Everyone else, I can easily manipulate/influence. We challenge each other a lot and actually, though we're kindda friends, we really can't stand each other. Come to think of it now, I've actually never liked a Leo male in my life. AIGHT SO BOOM!!!!!!! I’m a Scorpio male and recently went away with a Leo female, we was with friends and family also, we stayed at this place for 2 night and off the jump I felt her energy towards me, she was very interested..... (side note: me and this female grew up together but never established that kind of relationship, we was more friends/family if anything then she eventually move a little far away same city so not so far but we just separated and she never truly gave me the time of day we was around each other form brith untill I’ll say 13-14 is when she went away, this event happened when we was both 21 keep that in mind) anyways I felt her interest and I was definitely feeling her but I didn’t know how strong I should push for her, being that I’m a Scorpio I’m kinda used to females making the first move then I’ll bite off that then it would be easy but this Leo was not doing nun of that lol, she definitely made it obvious that she wanted me from the first night but I never took the initiative. leo's need to learn empathy. scorpios have lots of empathy. empathy = understanding. leo's are selfish. scorpios can see things for what they truly are.
Every sign has its pros and cons that a nother doesn't. One could argue that water signs have a tendency to be overly emotional and that's a hindrance. A Scorpio can also learn from a Leo, just like any other sign can learn.
