- Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James works out with Lakers' Coach Phil Handy on how to score in the post with build up. Handy works on each post move and then adds a counter move to it based on how the defender is playing LeBron. James also works on 3 point shooting while keeping his dribble alive with a defender or in pick and roll situations.

should the lakers post up Lebron James more ?
i think they could run some sets where lebron james posts up and if he dosent have it you can swish to ad at the 3 and then run a pick and roll option on the opposite side.
They need to play AD more at the 5 for Bron to post more. Paint is too crowded when they play 2 bigs for Bron to post.
Yeahh
They should think about running the triangle offense a little it’ll help him get easier shots down there
LBRON ....is more powerful on inside....paint.....
Unstoppable offensive player
Can play on every position
KOBE....versatility and shooting prowess ....quickness move
Athleticism ...determination to win..
This dude is really fitness goals , family goals, money goals, life goals.
Ameen to that
Should try being free throw goals as well!
Best comment!! Be the best you 💯💯💪💪👊🏽

You should try making the NBA
@@lennox.6447 too old my guy. Also just want to go on record that LeBron is my favorite player and the best player in the nba. I just wish I could count on those free throws down the stretch.
17 seasons and still grinding like it's year 2 celebrate him now be never cheated us
Jiggy Thanos exactly year two he prolly was grinding his ass off to prove himself
Hhh did you just start watching the NBA ? He was the master of load management and coasting in the regular season cuz he knows his Superteam will get him to the playoffs.
@V P AHAHAHA YOU'RE SO FUNNY ALRIGHT THEN KEEP WASTING TIME TRYNA PROVE HIM WRONG LMFAO
30k points 8k assists 8k rebounds and he is still overrated 😂 you haters should roll into your little corner and cry like a baby cuz BronBron is on his way to be #1 all time NBA scorer 🤷♂️
@V P bro, is that all ? Such a keyboard hero, talk shit on the internet but won't do shit in real life 😂
Alot of people don't realize it but in the future when Lebron finally retires this content will be GOLD.

Lebron in this video is weak AF!!! Every time it's slow motion. Practice moves like you're in a game. Everything is in slow motion and he always has a stuck up face like hes so good. They should show a video of him practicing free throws not just 3 consecutive. He needs help with that more than anything
Gotta admit he puts the work in and is serious about his craft
Even the BEST still keep learning and practicing. Take that in y’all.
Durant the Best
I nvr saw MJ MAGIC Or BIRD or any LEGEND B4 him have to be taught sumthing at this point of their career

Not a LBJ fan here, but even so, hotta admire his dedication and work ethic. He stays in shape better than any other legendary status athlete I've even seen. Keep it going LeBron!💪🏼
This Phil Handy is a complete coach. The same intensity he shows LBJ is the same he showed to the budding talent little Ziggy.Absolute Respect to coach Handy from Nairobi💪
Love it. 35 years old and still working on his game.
For sure - He’s got the skill and strength to be able to do it.
Sure he can I remember he work out with hakeem the best ever!He probably just going through the basic
He did fade away whole playoff the year before he went to the Lakers. Hadn't seen that shot after he joined here.. think rusty
And he can dance too. Without dribbling. 😂
Jay Rush facts lol 😂
Strength yes skill no. Lebrons foot work is his worst enemy.
Let's just think about something for a minute. This dude is 3rd all time scoring, as someone who hasn't been focused on that his entire career. Iverson, Melo, GOATBE, Jordan, etc....scoring mentality. This dude was/is willing to dime you and get you involved. Just think of all the points he's given up.
Goddamn insane I tell you.
Lakeshow, we here baby!
InCloseFighter exactly
If just 500 of his assists were scores instead, he’d be number two. Him being 10th all time in assists is crazy. Easily can be highest point
Total.
If he plays 3 more years averaging 20 a game for at least 70 games per year, he leads the entire NBA in points total.
SJ Publishing bro he’s projected to be the only player ever to have 40k all time points 10k all time rebounds and 10k all time assists wanna know what’s the crazy part is that they don’t even count the playoffs Jesus Christ
Good point I can’t lie.. and AI is my favorite player of all time but Bron has done some great and Special things for sure tho
Just think of all the points that would be shaved off his stats if he got called for all his travels and offensive fouls, and the modern league wasn't so soft on defense and allowed forearm checking and proper post up D? Also he's played more seasons than MJ who retired for 2 seasons in his prime.
Best athlete in NBA history. What a unit.
I love the fact that lebron is still open to learning. That's why he is the NBA player in the league right now.
In the last 100 years there’s never been an athlete built like LeBron. The way his game has evolved is nuts. He’s 35 and not slowing down. EVERY ATHLETE SLOWS DOWN. Genetics.
LeBron is a Regan era government experiment 😂 nothing else makes sense.... isiah thomas said it best "who taught him how to play basketball ? who were his coaches where did he come from ?"
Pacquiao is 41...
Greg A oh really ...you must not watch him play you casual
In the last 109 years? So mj was a hoax.is that what you mean.lbj is a body builder bulldozing his way to the rim. Mj was a finesse smooth operator inside and outside the post but very strong and athletic . Mj could have not win 6 NBA rings had he been a weakling physically and mentally.
U sound stupid
Nobody can stop you Bron. Straight beast mode. Parade on figeoura.
You spelled Figuerrora wrong foo....
Wish he played like no one can stop him.
He start the season dominating and trashing other teams everybody say he playing too hard he might get injured or gassed out b4 the playoffs.he plays conservative now and everybody saying he aint playing hard enuff😕😕 just shutup and enjoy greatness b4 its gone.
@@MLEMOBLIFEENTERTAINMENT I think it's gone already
especially when he doesn't get called for travels or offensive fouls and defense has been pussified so much that players can barely touch each other anymore.

lebron been playing w a lot more finesse lately, not just his bulldog meets you at the rim style of play. His ability to adjust his game is unmatched because he had to slow his tempo and become more of a cerebral player so he can still have that level of impact and IQ, without it taking a toll on his body.
All Kobe's moves. You can see the influence of Kobe even in their training system. Love you Kobe and Gianna. May your souls rest in paradise ♥️♥️♥️.
Albert Baasch MJ said Kobe copied all his moves. It’s about passing down the moves/mentality, no one takes full credit since everyone brings their own swag to the game/moves itself.
@@henryaraujo9 I agree, but Kobe is the last we saw masterpiece it like nobody else after Jordan, for this reason I said Kobe. Because if I am to say Jordan many kids of these days will not know what I am talking about. But if I am to say Kobe, he is more contemporary to our time than Jordan's.
Albert Baasch Well said mate. Truly Kobe was a phenomenal scorer and, imo, the best of his generation! Lebron could use more clutch genes since everyone expects so much from him but no doubt he is the King atm.
@@henryaraujo9 LeBron has his own way of playing the game which a little bit of everything. However it is not easy to masterpiece movements like that when you are already at the end of your career. But aesthetically the best players to watch are Jordan, Kobe.
@@henryaraujo9 clutch? LeBron James has more clutch shots than kobe and Mj..
Lakers gotta get this one this year man. It’s been since 2010 since we tasted glory. We need 3 in row.

I was really impressed with Phil Handy's post strategies...practicing with LeBron James on intricate moves that will open up his arsenal while working down in the paint.
Post in the weight room workouts man! It’d be dope to see how they stay healthy off the court 🔥🙌🏽
lebron would be averaging 28 a game if his free throws %was above 80
Daniel if lebron would keep his same free throw form and take his time he would definitely be 80 to 85 percent
Or if he gets it to 80 I think he's at 69
Agree or even more
How about these teammates start being more reliable shooters.
Lebron James is a Pass-1st Style Player = looks for the OPEN MAN 1st.
When are these Laker players going to stop waiting for Lebron James to save the day ?
Daniel A lot of points unaccountable for career points, imagine if just 80%
Bro, Coach Phil Handy's the real G.O.A.T 🐐💯
Thanks Swish Cultures 🙏🏿 Gotta practice those post tomorrow...

KING JAMES WILL CONTINUE THE LEGACY !!!
Should be doing these drills against A.D.
The point of the drills isn't to make the shot but to work on the footwork needed to get the shot.
I like that idea
he'll just drive by him in real match
It's for footwork once second nature he can post up anyone
They should allow him to wear his durag during the game.
Cleveland Barclay cover the hairline
I agree, add the mask too haha.
Gsy

They should allow him play topless too..lol
This is a good ass practice for Bron. Practicing his 3. Footwork fader then in between add some free throws while he fatigued

LeBron your phenomenal. Amazing physique . Great video 💯.
He's a proper athlete. Sheeesh legendary
I would like to see Lebron shooting and making a straight 50 in a row from the free throw line. The coaching staff should put all their energies to figure out how to get Lebron to shoot better. Anything else is whipping cream...
Lebron can do anything he wants. And in crunch time the only way for opponents to stop him is to put him on the line.
vidyanshu pandey one problem is refs don’t call fould for him he should he getting to the line 10 times per game. He needs to be in rhythm.
I like how hes doing drills and shooting free throws in between which is closer to a real game. So he has to change focus from game mode to free throw mode and back
Go for the champion lakers 💪💕🙏
Best of the world!!!!
This is the king of basketball 🏀 👟
He needs to work on his free throws. Everytime I see him shoot his free throws his ritual is different idk if it’s a confidence thing or he just has different rituals
you don't have idea, athletes who's so strong have a problem in free-throw.
it is human thing.. because human supposed to be not perfect.. ^_^ everybody has it flaws..
Idk his free throw look way better compare to the start of the season. Hes doesnt get calls anyways
Hes not the goat if can score free throw by closing his eyes he can pass mj
Less free throws this season so far.
Lebron leads the Lakers in 3-pointers made. 😀😀😀
good to see lebron working on his post game now as he ages...reminds me of kobe, thank you lebron
That 2chainz x Skooly playin on the background🔥
Get it Bron! Rooting for you 😊
Oh boy. If this man's post game gets good before playoffs, I smell trouble.
sickandloose it’s been good but I feel ya
LeBron is actually great at doing post moves especially his Miami days and he a good amount of them in the Cavs when they needed the points. It’s just he doesn’t do it as often as he used to in LA cuz he has so many bigs in the post now. But I also feel sometimes he settles in shooting too much. Sometimes he’s good, but mostly he’s not efficient doing it. So he really needs to just drive to the basket or shot more in the inside than outside. If he’s feeling it from the outside, then cool..we know he can shoot 3s when he’s in a rhythm. But yeah I rather see him being closer to the basket and bullying players haha. He is the “point forward” of the Lakers though, but I hope he finds a good balance cuz he should utilize all of his skills. But I’m sure LeBron knows this and will find ways to bring it out more in the 2nd half of this season into the playoffs. We know LeBron goes on a whole different level in the post season.
All I want to see right from the Lakers is them closing games out as well as more consistency from the 2nd unit. For now, AD and Bron has been doing what they need to be doing. But it has to be a team effort too and the other player have to be consistent. The Sac Kings game was a well balanced team win. If we can have 2 or 3 players as active like that and consistent.. plus Lakers defense..it will be hard to stop the Laker. But they are still learning and improving and hopefully they can figure everything out come playoff time. 👍
SaGeForReal well put
@@SaGeForReal 💯
@@SaGeForReal you're right he did posting and fadeaway lots more his last year with the cavs,

I’m a huge LeBron admirer but it has pissed me off for the longest that he doesn’t post up more. He is a force down low when he puts his mind to it but it seems he rather spend more time finessing on the perimeter. Now before anyone says “but he’s a PG”, Magic was a PG who posted up despite playing alongside the GOAT center in Kareem.
Most he Ever Posted up was Back in Miami But I do agree I wish he post up more,
g ...strength doesn’t fade away until 50s. Quickness with finesse does earlier tho
@@jbreymers8346 yeah idk what this guys talking about he's only gonna get stronger till his mid 40's.
He should be working on mid-post fadeaways. You're 6'8 built like a Greek God. Put your shoulder in the defender, spin, fade, money. It drives me crazy!!!
g...that’s not weakness; that’s athleticism-> which is why he should post up more..So I’m agreeing with you on that. I’m just saying it’s the opposite. I’m saying->because he’s stronger and losing athleticism, he should post up more.
Infact Lebron doesnt need that techniques. But i love how he is still learning as a student.
He definitely need these techniques. If u seen bron this season, he starts to rely on moves more over speed and athleticism. He realizes hes getting older.
with the needed respect, this is one of the stuffs why the sports is so funny, doesnt get any kind of difficulty

With his strenght ... He can grip the ball
You're probably not as strong. The coach that showed LeBron did it pretty well. It's all about the size. LeBron had pretty bad footwork compared to him but I mean it's not easy considering his size
@@lebronjames5287 nah im strong for a 4. Even if you look at MJs demonstration of the fadeaway he says to keep the ball high when turning around. It might just be in practice.
