I would say that they don't want beautiful elegant women to still the show,they try to convince us that the creations could be worn by any woman,not necessarily a super pretty one .From the other side designers must think again about it,beautiful creations make justice only on beautiful elegant women:)

My God...the legendary Anna Bayle who’s career starts in the late 70s to 80s...and werking it still in the 90s with Linda and all.
These women worked harder than models now! They had to change their outfits 10 times in this show and today there’s 100 models for one fashion show! It was a real work compared to what being model is now !
The models during this era, not only had to work the outfit, they also had to spin, unbuttoned jackets/coats, take off jacket/coat, hold purses, gloves, hit their marks on the runway, in order to get photographed, try not to trip or fall or bump into other models, WHEW, lol, today's models couldn't perform half of what these models did

There was women who dressed like that in real life in the 90's? Because nowadays, I can't see where to go dressed like that. Even on a red carped, it will be over the top. It's extremely lavish and luxurious and women are stupendious
