I've listen the shit out of this album, i hope they come out with another one soon and haven't given up with the talent they have, best 2 piece band ever.
Anus Repair Man I know them personally. Not gonna be any new floral stuff for a while but they have a new 3 peice project that's really good and Nate sherman (the guitarist in Floral) is still working on new math rock stuff if thats what you're craving. But no new floral for a while
Nate Shrager honestly hes in my top 3 math guitarists, ive listened to his parents guardian album and saw that he was doing guitar for a 5 piece band called good game that sounds awesome, whats the name of the 3 piece band?
+RageAgnstThClampdown A basic rundown is that the person who started the channel a year and a half ago called quits late last year. He'd worked together with an international team to collect the releases (popular and obscure) here - the team fell apart not long after he left and the channel went dormant for the past three months. I was part of it and just sort of want it to keep going, so now I'm doing it alone. As a one-man operation, this channel bleeds money that I mostly don't have. I also lack the computing power/skills to get things running consistently, so we're stuck with this for now.

Chon is math rock for complete normies and kids who exclusively grew up on Dream Theatre. It's the lowest of the lowest common denominator when it comes to Math Rock...
it's up to opinion when it comes to bands, but I have yet to find a true contemporary to Floral, they have insane precision and control in every composition.
The particular tuning that Nathan uses on his guitar makes his sound very "major scale-ish". Rush's sound is sorta like that. Dunno, just my interpretation.
