- Since we're doing a spoiler review in the livestream tomorrow night at 7pm, I thought I would get a quick movie review out at the last minute so you at least know what I'm thinking going into the livestream. The Oscars are also tomorrow night, so if you can't hang out in the livestream, you can at least watch this review. There's no spoilers in this video that weren't already in the trailer. I wasn’t going to do a review BUT the Oscar’s are tomorrow and just in case you can’t make the spoiler live stream, here’s my quick review! I hope to see y’all tomorrow at 7pm Eastern time!

Man I loved it! I wonder if they will stay in New York or go back to Woodsboro after this movie... I think I need to see it again now!
@@TheDorkSideTV First of all, I’m a huge fan of your channel. Secondly, Scream is my favorite franchise and I loved all the little Easter eggs in this movie! The opening scene AND the reveals at the end had me SHOOK. And Gale had me scared. So effin’ fantastic!

I liked the reveal for what it was!
I noticed that specific point with the knife cleaning and I did the same. Vicious. 😂
I felt New York made it feel larger than just a city's events. Now we can have international Scream 7 or something crazy hahaha! That knife clean towards the end was HYPE! The reveal was good, I'm not sure why some others don't like it. I want to see it again
I don't know why there are so many people hating on the reveal is this movie. I loved it and think this is one of the best Scream movies now. Great quick review and I look forward to the livestream tomorrow man!
The reveal was pretty good to me, but I can see long time Scream fans not being as happy with it. The Livestream will be an open discussion so I'm hype too! I have so much to talk about that I couldn't say. Thanks for the love man! I'm always happy seeing you in the comments
As someone who watched the original back in 1996 and has been with the series ever since, I loved this reveal. We haven’t had a motive like this for a good few entries in the franchise yet.
Non-Spoiler but…
Ghost face felt violent and aggressive which matched the motive.

It's honestly my favorite 3rd act of all the films.

I actually really love the reveal ! I just saw it in theaters & I don’t get why people wouldn’t like it! Completely threw me for a loop lol
I have a theory on scream 7 . I think, like many, that Stu Macher could somehow survive in the first film. In the finales of the fifth and sixth parts, we were shown Sam as a psychopathic killer who inherited a lot from her father. Stu was mentioned more than once in the last film . So I think that after Stu survived after the injuries sustained from the TV falling on him... (Come on Ethan survived after being stabbed in the mouth and Amber did the same after being burned alive!!! so in this franchise this is already possible) , he somehow managed to escape from the police, and realized that his life had become terrible, he began to blame Billy for everything, perhaps because he dragged him into it. Then suddenly, perhaps after the events of the second third and fourth films, he found out that Billy has a daughter and starts a plan of revenge on her.He found Richie at one of the stabathones, saw this obsession with scream films in him, directed him against Sam, gave him the idea to accuse her of murder, which he announced in the finale of the fifth film. It wasn't just that the finale of the fifth film was at Stu's house, this was the finale Stu wanted for Billy, but he was almost able to make it for Sam with Richie's hands. After Richie failed, Stu influenced Detective Bailey and his entire family in the same way, pointed out the culprit for the death of his son and here's a Scream six. So if the fifth movie was like the first, the sixth was like the second, why wouldn't the seventh be like the third? In which Roman Bridger said that it was he who directed the actions of Billy and Stu. So, Sam will fight Stu in the final of the entire franchise, in "THE LAST SCREAM", perhaps she will die with Stu and then all evil will die.Such a plot or something like this is really possible I think. I can't imagine a crazier story for the continuation and completion of the franchise than this after what we saw in the sixth film.I clearly don't see a better ending.
P. S. Scream six was so great, so brutal, it obviously has the best opening scene of all .
Honestly, I want this to happen now hahahaha! Great well written comment! The only thing I’d change is I would want Sidney to finish off Stu since it all started with them. But if Sam did finish it off it would still be epic! Just depends on who from the core 4 die… thanks for this taking the time for this amazing comment!
@@TheDorkSideTV Sidney finishing Stu off would be golden. But I believe if they decide to take this route & bring Stu back, they would probably make Sam off him since Sidney “failed” the first time.

I really loved this movie like Jesus Christ it was fuckin awesome seeing ghostface in a new setting, loved the creative opening , love the third setting, I liked the killers/motive better than 5, the chase sequences/tense scenes were fuckin crazy I was screaming sm during this movie, I genuinely thought it was pretty scary like I haven’t been this on edge in a scream movie before. Honestly a 9/10 for me it’s my third fav scream movie just behind the original and scream 2.
I think from a pure adrenaline rush, it's a perfect 10/10! The suspense of the chases and the brutality of the kills made my heart beat the whole way through man. I loved the opening and couldn't believe the store/dorm room scene with the ladder. Probably some of my favorite Ghostface scenes in the franchise here. Top three movies of the franchise for sure. Thanks for sharing your Scream 6 hype! I knew you would leave a great comment my friend!

I enjoyed it a lot. Besides, watching the movie with the audience is a whole other experience. Everyone cheering and laughing. I think they did a great job and show us how this franchise could move on from Sidney, but respecting her legacy.
Oh yeah agreed! Sidney was missed but she wasn’t needed for the story to work either! The carpenter sisters were holding it down in New York and I think they could at least finish this trilogy. Great comment Matias!

I actually enjoyed the reveal - called the motive but I don't think the reveal was bad.
I would love for you to come hang out BlueIcyRose! Yeah I think the reveal works just as good as other reveals in the franchise (which I'll explain in the spoiler stream). It's a good movie and a must see in theaters for any Scream fan!

I think the best part about this too, is the fact that since they wore different masks from the past, we can also, I think, tell who did what kills :D
Saw it Thursday evening when I was off from work because the last thing I wanted to do was accidentally catch any major spoilers before I saw it!!! Overnight work schedule and not sure which 7pm in terms of time zone you're referring to but will try and access it. (Time change only working 7 instead of 8 hours tonight so slight perk) . Just caught up on the rest of your reaction videos. I enjoyed it and somehow made myself look away as little as possible because I squirm a LOT but still am a sucker for the franchise.. I enjoy all the scream movies, though, with 3 being at the bottom but will never turn down an opportunity to watch it again .

I just saw Scream VI. It was different. Interesting twist on the Scream franchise. I'm happy it wasn't stupid like Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. It felt like a different world having the first installment without Sidney Prescott.
The absence of Sidney didn't take anything away for me though. If it was in Woodsboro I would've been a little frustrated but since it was in New York, I believed their reasoning. I'm glad you liked it more than Friday 8 hahaha! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment Freddie!

Scream VI and 2 might flip depending on the day but I’m quite confident with placing VI so far up after already seeing it three times.
It's definitely top three for now, but it's between Scream 5 and Scream 4 in my ranking. I'm trying to figure out my ranking but I'm having a hard time! I love them all man. Thanks for watching and I proud to know you've seen it THREE times already. Wow, that's love!

Saw it yesterday and it looked really good, the kills in here were great, the characters and actors were awesome and the chase scenes were good too. Even though it was filmed in Canada it definitely gave off New York City vibes.
With the lack of chase scenes in Scream 5, they made up for it with a ton of awesome Ghostface chases and kills in this one! Loved it man. Thanks for sharing the Scream love Thomas!

I loved the reveal as well and don’t understand the complaints about the motive. Also, I must be a different type of viewer because I didn’t see the killer reveal coming and actually got suckered in by the false reveal at first.
I had a feeling about who the killer was and I can't go into too much detail without spoilers. Just know I think the reveal, motive, and whole 3rd act was amazing and had me so excited to be a new Scream fan! Totally the perfect time to watch this series. I'm glad you loved this movie too Nick!

I watched it a second time yesterday and it was even better than the first time.
Yeah a few minor flaws, but nothing big. I liked the ending. I cant really understand why most people seem to dislike it.
The movie has some really tense scenes. The ladder scene, the scene in the store, gales attack, the train. I LOVED the train scene.
Sam was awesome in this movie. I love her dark side.
Brooo same! Sam channeling her inner Billy is some of my favorite parts of 5 and 6! All the scenes you mentioned are what make the movie stand out so well! Having a bunch of ghost face on a train is such a good idea and built the tension perfectly!
That ladder scene had me holding my breath at one point. Everything ghost face scene was on point and I don’t see how the reveal could squander that so hard for some people. Some of the most iconic kills have now come from this movie.
I want to watch it a second time asap because you’re not the first person to say it’s even better a second time! Great comment Ben! What would you give it out of 10?

Took forever to write ya back about 6, I gotta say I did like it. Not my favorite by far, but I thought it was very good. Took my mama and she was hootin and hollerin the whole time lol. Like I said before I been seein these since 1996 in the theater, and the first three I seen had packed theaters. This time was only 8 total. So it was different than the original trilogy. Man I was 10-14 seein the first three and I can remember the yellin from the audience durin the reveals and when Sidney/ Dewey would kill the killer(s) good times 😁 Well anyway hope ya have an amazin evenin and a very happy Easter. I’ll be at work for the live stream 😞 It was very good. I saw it Friday night after work. The whole theater clapped when the credits started. I’ve been very apprehensive of scream 4 on, as I liked that it was a trilogy. The original Scream is the first scary movie I watched the whole way through without covering my eyes. Scream will also hold a special place in my heart for that reason. 1960s Psycho is technically my all time favorite horror movie. I just don’t want to see Scream be like Nightmare on Elm Street or Friday the 13th. If they do scream 7, I really think it should stop there. Basically it would be another trilogy for the whole “requel” aspect and that would make scream 4 was just a bonus.
That’s ok Amanda, I’m glad we can talk now at least! I agree, it shouldn’t go too far into the sequels. 7 would be a great stopping point but if it keeps making this money we will see infinite Scream movies. It’ll end up in Spain or something eventually hahaha! It’s currently one of the most consistently good franchises (not just horror) ever made so stopping on a high note would be pretty great! I wanted to add I loved all your reactions to the first 5 films! What sucks it I didn’t see Scream 2022 right away (I got covid 2 days before the release). It was so hard to not look at any articles or read the plot. On Dewey’s death, if you ever get a chance to watch any making of scream specials, Dewey was actually supposed to die in scream 1, at the last minute they shot the ending of him being alive. So we have to thank the test audiences who loved his character so much that Wes changed it. I wrote quizzes for the original trilogy that’s how much I love it. Scream is the treason I love horror movies. What would you like to see in Scream 7? I’d love if Neve comes back with Mark. Funny thing I saw Scream 1 and 2 back to back on VHS. I’ve seen every scream since in theaters.

Now… I know everyone tries to say they want Stu back. And I think it would be kinda a bad idea BUT… if 7 really was the last film and they brought our guy back to try and finish Sidney, that would be amazing! It’s hard to think of a future killer for the franchise because the reveal in 6 is very personal. But having a legacy Killer with the Legacy heroes would be an epic conclusion. Especially if Sam channeling her inner Billy had to kill him or something hahaha!

Speaking of Final Destination, there's going to be a sixth film.
My guy I'm about to go through your Scream reactions but I strongly disagree that Dewey survived worse in the movies previous to this.
Scream 1 - he gets stabbed in the back seemingly 1 time
Scream 2 - he gets stabbed in the back multiple times but it's said most went into the previous stab wounds which helped him out
Scream 3 - he gets hit with the bottom of the knife and falls down the stairs
Scream 4 - he gets hit multiple times with a bed pan
Scream 5......
Chad got stabbed about 20 times from both sides of his body not counting the one under his armpit.
Obviously this franchise isn't the most realistic but these last 2 have been just unbelievable. I could suspend my disbelief before but since Wes isn't here , these last Scream movies have you expell your disbelief. Scream 4 Gale gets stabbed in the shoulder and is in the hospital, Scream 5 she gets shot in the stomach as is walking around like nothing. 😂

@The Dork Side TV 8 out of 10 but that may change. All of my predictions where right. My Scream movie rules kicked in heavy for this one. I knew who the killers where, how many, who would live or die, and possible motive.

I think people just like to complain about shit. Especially these days with how the internet is.
I know that almost every movie has some flaw(s), but a lot of the time, people are just reaching way too far.

I completely disagree. Kirby was not well utilized in this film and Gale had the best scene of the movie.
Gale does have one of the best scenes (I'd say the ladder scene is better) but they did need a little more Kirby. Hopefully she comes back
