I am a builder in Seattle. 100% agree with her about the cheap, quickly built condos and apartment complexes going up all over the city. Built during rainy season with moisture built into the walls. Theoretically, if built properly, the moisture COULD eventually evaporate and breath out of the walls. BUT they are not built well. I have been saying what she said about Florida buildings for a verrry long time here. This is also in Seattle where we have a fairly high moisture content in the atmosphere for much of the year.

Becky Campbell is super mean / not credible. Refused to discuss why she was asking for very high payments before doing anything for a patient.
Blocks everyone who questions her quacky statements backed by zero data, or if you ask how she comes to the conclusions she claims certainty of. She is a scammer- makes outlandish claims to get people to pay THOUSANDS upfront for her “telemedicine”. This should scream RUN. She is intolerant of polite debate or asking for explanation of her extreme pricing. She’s NOT a doctor- and her narcissistic behavior is scary.

If you can’t afford to move, or even afford to have remediation, or if you have it at work. If there is no way to avoid it, what would be the best way to manage it? I’m definitely exposed to it a lot and believe I have a good tolerance but it does concern me.

*sigh* I have CIRS & we are about to start remediation. When I first heard about the protocols with anything porous, I got OVERWHELMED. I nicknamed it the "burn the house down" protocol. 😬 Thanks to great doctors, I started small and now I'm doing a lot of what Dr. Becky discusses. I find her on IG and so appreciate her content. ❤

According to Dr. Shoemaker about 20-40% of the population is affected by normal mold. So it’s not everyone. But you can become sensitive to it at high levels. I’m one of those people. Had crazy symptoms and had to go on a detox regimen and move. Much better now but I would say don’t go down that path unless you’re actually having symptoms.
And you can find a quality air mold tester for a couple hundred dollars not thousands. But you have to be careful because there are a lot of snake oil salesmen out there in this field because of how “invisible” the issue can be.
