Currently going through a flare up! Just gotten over having inflammation in my thoracic spine, and now my entire shoulder blade muscles are inflamed ane spasming. Sadly I can't take NSAIDS because of my gastritis, I also have MS which means it's hard to tell the difference in a flare up sometimes. It also means I'm resistant to pretty much all painkillers due to having such an overactive nervous system. Shout out to other AS warriors having to tough out their flare ups 💪 It really sucks i know!
Good video , nicely explained….I’m watching it while I’m in extreme flair up due to weather changes and physical exertion…..I’m taking all the medicines on time even biologic’s & exercise….but still can’t manage pain in my back & hip joints. Earlier it was bit easy but with an infant…it’s very tough task for a mother …but still I’m doing stretching as much as possible , and yes it gives some relief , at least I can walk a bit around in house …and hold my baby’s hand while he’s learning to walk . 😊😊

I have had knee flare previous year, then I met my rheumatologists, he suggested me to take steroid shot in knee and recommended saaz ds with etoricoxib 90. So inflammation reduced very much and after one year that is now, again rheumatologist seeing that flare ups happening now and then, he suggested adalimumab which I have been taking. Inflammation is gone pain is reduced but there is one lump right above knee joint, vastus lateralis to be exact. Should I worry about this because this is causing stiffness in knee which is reducing mobility. Now I can walk, can do all recommended exercise.
Do speak to your rheumatologist & understand the exact cause of lump. This may be normal fat pad (particularly if there is no pain) or a little bit of remaining inflammation.
Sir etanercept injection kitne dose ke baad pura asar dikhata hai? Saaz 500 mg, naprosyn 500 mg aur weekly 1 etanercept injection le rha mai, 90 percent aram phle injection me ho gya i. e; kamar dard aur knee swelling pain but kafi der khade rhne ya baithne pe peeth bhari lgne lgta hai sir? 😕 Please advice sir
