Find your flame is actually just a hero's version of the infinite theme I swear. It's absolutely amazing. Both of them are.

He shouldn’t. The Phantom Ruby is in theory even more powerful than the Chaos Emeralds, or at the very least able to neutralise them.

I like to think somewhere out in the multiverse we have a superb "Super Sonic vs Phantom Infinite" final boss that goes hard like that.
The fight could take place in null space, or maybe you go in and out of it throughout the fight
And the Frontiers bosses suck.

It's not JUST that. Find Your Flame, in it's entirety, is almost like a direct retort to Infinite's theme, a thundering response to the hopeless nature of the song.
Imagine if Sonic vs Infinite played out as if these two songs fighting each other. Infinite believing he’s become the best through suffering alone and Sonic fighting to prove that’s not enough and he’s stronger with his friends, and not just that but Sonic fighting to make Infinite see that its not too late and he can find his true flame instead of being lost in his own delusions.
I really want a remake of Sonic Forces now just to see them redo Infinite’s character and have these two tracks fight.

I imagine depending on the players health or rings and infinites health the songs fight back and forth for more control as the fight progresses. If the players about to lose the song for infinite dominates while if the players about to beat infinite sonics song dominates and in the middle of the battle or start it's sort of a mix

the main singer of infinite is one of the singers of find your flame and both follow a really similar cadence, which seems almost intentional

Imagine a fight between super sonic and infinite where the music adjusts depending on whether the players almost beaten the boss, midway through or the boss is about to defeat you as sonic the music can dominate depending on which one is winning.
I could imagine Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Movie with Infinite being the main antagonist and the theme being about how one balances skills and gifts they obtain and ones are born with, with Sonic being born with his powers and still recognizing his flaws with it and trying to improve them while Infinite worked hard to become the strongest being in the universe until one day a snarky blue hedgehog who was simply born with god-like superpowers upstages his life’s work but more importantly destroys his pride, his main motivator.

Edit: the thing I like from the other one is that they add transitions from song to song. Not the best, in my opinion, but they are pretty good at times.

People point this out but "find your flame" is like Sonic's response to infinite's theme and it's badass
seeing as how multiple Sonic villains later come back as Sonic's allies, this could be a "redeemed" Infinite theme. Regardless this is a wonderful mashup, always thought the two were similar with Tyler Smyth singing both and all, but this is way better than i ever imagined!
Would love to see that but that would be to good to be true maybe a fan made comic of that situation could be made then again who knows what Sega might do with infinite they didn't say that he's out for the count so he will return question is when and will it be as a villen or hero/antihero
@@meruthesuccubus3416 yeah, they left it kinda up in the air, though so far they don't seem to have anything planned for him, as far the mainline games at least, plus with how Forces was received it makes it even less likely, but who knows? if there's something certain about sega, is that they often surprise us
It'd be cool if infinite came back as an ally in Frontiers, like to redeem himself for causing so much destruction, and to make up for how bad of a villain he was, he had so much potential.

“Eternal Embers” would be a cooler name imo. Flows a lot better. Ember means “a small piece of burning or glowing coal or wood in a dying fire”, which could represent Sonic and the world around him in Forces.
