I used to be in love with this game at launch. im so upset that i got burnt out because it still looks great, but i just can't get back into it feels bad man
I left before Brel came out, and just came back about a month ago. I came back because I miss the classes, the combat, the setting, and I do kinda enjoy the gameplay loop. It can be a really fun game to play casually (1-3hrs/day), I just have to be good about not fomo’ing. I did a try party for Brel normal, and it was a really good time, about 3 pulls. I do the raids that I can/have time for, and people aren’t gatekeeping me in low lvl content (clown and under).
@@Whatitiswhatsup what do you recommend the daily task/routine is for returning/new players? The thing is if I use a pass then I'm skipping majority of the tutorials.
would really love to get back into the game but the gatekeeping is AWFUL and i generally dont like meeting new people so until i can solo/duo bosses i will probably not return and its sad cus i love the game to bits
Any general recommendations between the three supports? Mentioned briefly at the end, but any "if you like doing this, pick that" or did they get any changes? Been on a break for over a year but may come back
Paladin has buff spells which you can just use without needing to think about aiming it at your teammates, while bard and artists both do need to aim them at their teammates, couple this with the fact that your identity is a massive aura around you that heals and buffs passively, makes paladin a very new player friendly class that can play very passively and focus on the raid without having to use much of your thinking capacity on your buffing, plus he’s tanky
Bard is the only one of the supports that doesn’t have a cleanse, she however has the highest buffing potential in the game due to her being able to choose the strength of her buffs, unlike the paladin and artist, she does however have a lot of skills that make herself be stationary next to the boss to get gauge, so it can be a lot more punishing if you get hit out of your skills. There’s still a lot to add but you’ll just have to ask about that specifically, but overall choose bard if you want a support where there can be a lot of minmaxing with a high skill ceiling
To quickly say something about artist as well, is that one of the things I find most appealing about artist is that she can more specifically choose her identity to suit whichever situation suddenly arises, she can quickly use 1 orb to heal someone in an urgent situation, while bard and paladin most of the times can’t. Artist can be very nice to play if you really feel like taking care of your teammates

i played surge blade as my main till kayangel and i wouldnt recommended it to anybody as a main class or a class to learn the raids, its hard as fuck and extremally frustating to miss surge windows because the bosses become immortal all the time, its a great class as an alt tho when u already know the boss patterns like the back of your hand.
Just coming back to Lost Ark after a long hiatus. I previously played Artillerist, But never found a class that really fit my style. I play a Demonology Warlock in WoW. I enjoy Utility classes, Versatility, Mind games, Reactive, and High risk / high reward. Any suggestions on what class i should play in Lost Ark? I am considering Artist and maybe Breaker, But open to suggestions.

which of the versions are u playing like what skills? also nightmare or hallu and half half or full crit? currently im playing the version with vestige scythe aaand reapers scythe as a 3rd pink skill and on nightmare full crit. i swear im not doing dmg somehow. lvl 7/8 gems 30 deep dive. with 5x3 no adrenaline 1. 1590 atm. but i dont know it just feels kinda meh even tho by now i mastered the rotations
@@xLinksDreheRxfull crit lacks cooldowns for a smooth rotation. Might have to look into some higher cooldown gems that’s the problem if you miss a skill in rotation low cooldowns can easily slow you down a lot. That’s why full moon is preferred because you only need 3 juice damage gems then rest is just meh.
I wonder how many ppl come back, want to play the game and get gatekept af and leaving again. so sad because the game is so cool. but dont find groups and ppl insult you if you do 1 lil mistake :D
The issue is the game really punish u for 1 mistake someone make. Punish really hard ie: whole group getting wiped. So its understandable, not saying it should be like that but welp it is what it is. No one wants to waste time. Im now looking for a group of people to do content with because im also new
I think you will have more fun with wind fury. Drizzle needs high CD gems (long CDs on her main dps skills), and her utilities are bad. Biggest stagger are on her main dps skills, and only 2 destruction skills one being her biggest dps skill. Something to consider cuz I play drizzle

Wait blade got a nerf in this patch a 5% dmg reduction for surge skill Is this the same balance patch in Korea or she'll ne getting a buff in an upcoming patch ?
Surge got nerf, but the class is still very much OP and has the highest damage ceiling currently. It is still better than Breaker. I think it will get more nerfs in the future (no idea how it didn't get one this month) and not buffs.
@@zackscreem4160it was nerfed in korea for 2 months and it still gap other classes, all the tier list that ppl make recently most of them are even after nerf. It's just that broken if u can play it properly.
Enjoy. For me it's one of the most fun classes to play. It feels so good. Visceral. Fast. Punchy. I love it and she will probably always be my main. Yeah she is not meta top dmg but you will do very well regardless, because your floor is your ceiling and most people suck. Two small tips: - Spec is everything. You can go swift neck, crit or swift/spec bracelet, crit neck whatever you want, but get as much spec as you can. Every point counts. - Use your auto attacks. You don't really have a rotation and sometimes everything is on cooldown for one or two secs. My auto attacks do ~3-4mio per swing unbuffed in trixion. It makes a pretty big difference.
@@Dr.Graaff yes, I know what you mean :D I had that with destroyer... I can't even bring myself to do chaos dungeon/guardian on it. Totally done with that class. Glad I realized and switched him out.
Don't need to. It's a fun class that's got good self healing decent DMG and SUPER CHEAP to build. DI only NEEDS two gems. My mom demon skill gems I just build over time free as I play for extra lil bit but ya man u can build a full demonic for less than just one engraving on other classes
slayer is a better zerker, destro is very good but gl overrall better, gs is crit synergy-fun high apm and versatile but anim lock way too much, barrage arti is top tier dps but wheelchair. they're all good but getting old : others got their animations reworked
I play support. Artist only. I am still learning. But i feel like max roll builds feel outdated i wanna play my roll good but idk i feel like am missing somethinf eegarding skills. Also alot od people say go rhis this and this without saying why i should pick rhis over the other why is better. I could use some goos advixe on how to properly play manage the artist cuz i am only using that atm.

Just came back and kinda reworked my lineup and now i play every assasin (re/hunger/di/nights edge) pred slayer and reflux sorc and have been enjoying myself more thn ever before.
Blade. I play both and like reaper more but blade has a higher skill ceiling for DMG imo but that being said sometimes I do MVP over blades on my reaper but a good blade always beats an equal reaper iirc
I haven't tried breaker but I never rly liked the martial artist classes outside just an alt control glavier for funsies but I just made soul eater and fuckin love it. Pulled some MVPs today on it with only 3 full engravings
I play all three. Blade is the more meta one. Hunger is a blast and sh is rly easy and cheap to build but still does rly solid DMG so basically pick the one u enjoy the most cuz all three are good classes. Blade engravings are cheap too. Full legendary supercharge was like slayer engraving book cost lol
Not zeals :D but eso is a bit slower, has bigger numbers and requires spec. Tai is faster with smaller numbers, probably a bit cheaper to build. So it depends on what you enjoy more. I go with wardancer because the scrapper fists look ridiculous to me :D

It's funny, I just deleted my 1560 DB after the "rework" just because I hate playing that class at all. Fun really does mean a lot more these days.
I main dblade since day 1 and I still have a lot of fun with it. Everyone have their own opinions and I respect that.

Korea got the nerf Jan 31 almost two months ago as well as Breaker nerf. It didn’t do anything.

Arcana is a hard class to master at least for me but I love it and I get better as i play
arcana's floor (the dmg output for minimal effort) is very low. you need to put a lot of time and practice, but it's rewarding.
