Nice to meet you today at the car show , a good place for watching trains on the Carlisle to settle line is Ais gill and on the west coast mainline Scout green near Shap is a good place. Well done chasing the train on a hot day

Amazing models.
My late Grandpa (may he rest in peace) had a passion for model railways and model boats. Railway has long since been dismantled and his boats haven't touched water for over 20 years sadly.
You should look up the Portsmouth Model Boat Display Team. Their displays are taken to a whole new level. Warships with working guns etc.

Interesting video. I notice it's mostly older guys who are interested in these things. I doubt whether younger people have much interest in engineering. Many years ago, my father used to take me to a park with a lake, where enthusiasts sailed model boats. Nauls Mill Park in Coventry.
I think there are a few, but like you say not many 😊

I usually don’t pay much attention to RC boats or live steam but the attention to detail in these units is astounding. Wonderful enthusiasm from this young girl- great job👍🏽

I have looked at a few of your videos, they all inspire me. Interestingly, I was trained by the army in the 90's on the North Yorks Moor Railway to drive steam engines, yes, a soldier doing that in the 90's. Those teaching me we amazing men, backbreaking shoveling coal and black sutted face but great fun. I then found myself in Iraq stealing steam engines from the Iraqi Army. it works by water being pumped up a clear tube attatched to the bottom of the bucket and to the tap

My dad uses live steam on his garden railway, we've both modelled boats, but never owned a steam powered model boat, although I did have a go on some at Cheddar Models a few years back😊

Think that model boat was a replica of a SKeloton, rower exercise machine? Still trying to get my head around the tap, not connected to any pipe, did you figure it out?
