WEĹL DONE MATILLDA GREAT VIDEO I WENT ON CITY OF WELLS 34092 BATTLE OF BRITAIN STEAM LOCO WHEN IT WAS AT THE KEIGHLEY WORTH VALLEY RAILWAY WEST YORKSHIRE ❤
Hello matilda hello mum you done well catching ghe steam train some good close ups and so sorry I still haven't played your cd yet I know you're going to have a go at me
Well done Matilda and Mum! Yet again you are on the spot when the steam train comes and then, not only that but, you get invited into the cab! You couldn’t do better if the drivers had your phone numbers to tell you what time they are arriving. Loved the driving alongside the train, brilliant.
WOW! What a brilliant video Matilda. Two great locomotives, the brilliant evergreen (in LMS red or maroon) class 47 along with the beautiful Tangmere Southern Railway Bullied designed Pacific 4-6-2 steamer. You managed to get brilliant footage of both directions. I take by hat of to both you, your mum and of course the lovely Maureen the Micra for making this happen. Excitement all the way trying to catch the best views and Team Walden along with the loco's did a brilliant job. I guess I should thank the traffic a tad as well. It's great to hear that no one in the video was naughty with the speed or got hurt.
What a great video !!! what a beautiful stream train ( something futuristic about it), you always surprise us ! , you are a young lady BUT seem to love old cars/ trains, you are unique 😁
That’s the best video I’ve ever seen of train chasing Matilda and your mum is a brilliant driver. I bet all the passengers were watching you watching them.
The Bullied "Spam Cans" are my favourite locomotives. They remind me of my childhood days of the fifties, when we lived not far from the south west terminal station of the line from Waterloo. I noticed back then that they were very prone to wheelslip when pulling away from a standing start. Your "Great Train Chase" was conducted with immense enthusiasm and excitement, and I found it absolutely hilarious! 😂 Keep up the good work keeping a grin on my face, and hang on to those emotions as long as you can.
Will do don’t worry. I was a bit under the weather as I had a cold, been on a residential the weekend before and slept in a tent and I’m not that hardy! Nearly falling asleep prior to Tangmere coming into view 😂
That was great I could feel your excitement will you catch her or not. Yea you did it. Wise Mum too, a workmate crashed his car doing that years ago on the same road, forget which loco he tried chasing but he had a Skoda S100 rear engine and it spun out on a bend.
@@matildariverwaldennews Yes he was OK and could still drive home with dented pride and car. The roads are so busy now you were so lucky to get that gap in the traffic
@@cedarcam I know I think some people have gone too far and drive so slowly it’s dangerous, they produce massive tail backs and it’s human nature people get stressed then some take risks over taking. 😢
I've watched for a while I don't usually comment but that was fantastic! I really enjoyed the chase! I'm not great at speed talking but always enjoy you both living the life to the full.
Steam trains are extremely addictive and super rare. I had no idea there was still one running on the tracks where you live. Thank you for capturing such a rare event and sharing it with us. Watching a young person like you that loves old cars, steam trains, and things plus dancing and entertaining us is refreshing and gives hope in this world we live in. I am really pleased that you love steam locos, and obviously the Tangmere is your top one which I gather by this exciting video full of your bubbling and infectious excitement. I know the line very well and I also admired the determination of your driverr to get you be up close! Keep 'em coming, Matilda! Rob
That was absolutely amazing. That could never happen where I live. Thanks for posting, Matilda. This is the second video of your that I've watched and your enthusiasm is infectious.
I think this is the only train chasing video I've seen from the UK. Thanks for sharing the excitement of seeing this marvelous locomotive in action, Matilda, loved it!
Good chase girls well done , but be careful cos some of the consequences aren't worth some of the ambitions sometimes , best to just let some things go than to finish up hurt mum was quiet right to stick to limits , apart from that brilliant video some beautiful shots
Don’t worry we are very safe had the road not been clear we wouldn’t have done it. It was just total luck that there was a break in the traffic at exactly the correct time. mums been driving since 1989 almost daily never had an accident she also has her advanced driving test, so certainly would not do anything dangerous
This was Epic ive been on them roads hundreds of times and never seen a single train.....the timing the camera work and the driving was all unbelievable!
Another lovely video Matilda well done great camera work as usual I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on UA-cam bye for now Philip

A good video Matilda and a great loco I was allowed in the cab at Tamworth some years ago. The video meant a lot to me as I grew up at Giggleswick in the 60's so I knew exactly where you were. If you ever go through Long Preston on a Saturday when the village hall is open there is a model of the station on display that I built some years ago. Keep up the good work.
34066 Spitfire and 34086 219 Squadron were considered candidates for preservation in the 60s because of their good condition but 34023 Blackmoor Vale was chosen for preservation instead due to it being in better condition.
