Ehh, the Age of Lost Omens only started a hundred years ago, these two events are close enough that you could just consider them part of the same time period (a time period where a LOT of big events happened). The previous age was over four and a half thousand years after all.
I am really excited for War of Immortals, it sounds like it's going to be a great adventure. Also, Nahoa is gorgeous, whoever designed him did a great job!
I admit, when I first heard about this story I was kind of “meh” on it. Watching this stream has really gotten me pumped for the War of Immortals. Also, the cover for the Divine Mysteries book is exquisite. I’ll need to see if I can get a poster/picture of that to frame and put in my game room.
So this book dealing with mythic stuff will have mythic level for players and mythic monsters like pf1e right? I'm hoping for some stats for archdevils and demon lords so i can craft some of my own.
Paizo: 100+ page hardcovers are going to be the default going forward. Matt Colville, literally hours earlier: 100+ page hardcovers should NOT be the default for adventures and it's hurting the hobby 😂
War of Immortals is a rulebook, Divine Mysteries is a setting/lore book, Curtain Call and Triumph of the Tusk are Adventure Paths, Prey for Death is a standalone hardcover adventure, and Godsrain is a novel! The entire event is called War of Immortals, after the tentpole rulebook release.
Darn, I hoped that there will be Test of the Starstone AP... I don't think we need more random gods, there are too many already, it is like pokemon... Paizo please - give the players what they want - path to divinity for their heroes!
7:22 It's weird that Matt Colville JUST did a video about how these big(ger) adventures should NOT be the norm and here we are getting told that Paizo's are going to be getting bigger. It really is the end of the small booklet modules isn't it? This news also means that physical copies are going to be EVEN more expensive than they were before. I like hardcover but I don't feel like standalone adventures need to be hardcover, at least not the "regular version". A fancy, hardcover Special Edition would be fine, those of us that like having physical products could ignore that one and just buy the regular version. I don't like being forced into things like this!
Paizo probably can't please everyone. I read a lot of complaints about "too small" books and that they're only trying to make money by splitting content into small books. Now they make bigger ones and there's people who don't like that either.
Note that the APs will continue to be small softcover books, only the standalone adventures are becoming hardcovers. There was already not a lot of those coming out, so they are just making them “meatier” for the time we wait between each ones.
I always viewed the Starstone from a science fiction comic book angle. If you have the proper gene say X Gene for simplicities sake. You survive and transform. Why there is not more gods then? Comparitively there is not a huge amount of folks on Golarion with said Gene. I mean 000.01% is more when your population grows from 100 to 1 million to 1 billion right...
@@samuellancaster6487well yeah, but I didn't want to come right out and say it. I actually based a whole sub plot on this in Starfinder as Cayden the god of freedom revolution and drink was missing. He was running around being all salty about the gods for kicking him out.
Sounds like this should be a new age for Golarion. Farewell Age of Lost Omens.

Said it once, I will say it again. 2024 the year of PAIZO TAKE MY MONEY!
You said it
The remaster content drought is finally coming to an end
My righteous, Chaotic Neutral Orc Barbarian with his T-Rex steed is going to have a rough time with this one.

2:52 You're Welcome! It's the Rock!
Nocticula and Dezna are already sort of benevolent gods of darkness. Is Aleph necessary ?
SOUNDS like a good idea.
May I suggest in the future making token offerings to Brigh and Cassandalee for better volume control.

Yay novels!!!
Damn I really was hoping that there would be a Mythic AP based in Iblydos being announced. Oh well, here's to hoping for the future 🤞
Chaldira content LETS GOOOOOO
Will these new novels be available in an audiobook format?
They will be yes!

This just happened yesterday. Where is the Howl of the Wild stream that you guys did almost two weeks ago?
Thanks for letting me know - it was still unpublished! I appreciate the ping - the VOD is live now!
@PaizoInc Thank You.
Norgorber killed him or he killed himself
nice
is this (WoI) an adventure path or a supplement like Book of the Dead or Dark Archive?

@@PaizoInc thank you very much for the clarification
Nice beard
Indeed 😂

I understand but soft backs is why I stopped buying stand alones. They dont sit on a shelf right and feel weird. I'm excited ror more hardcovees.

I still feel these are the exception, since the way that adventure paths function while difficult can be strung together
Believe it or not, MC can be, and has been, wrong about a lot of things.

That's sounds more like the Inhumans, but still a interesting idea.

Gorum has been one of the most likable gods in the pantheon... wtf paizo..
