ABANDONED $5,000,000 CULT MANSION With EVERYTHING Left Behind | 4 Guest Houses!

- In a quiet corner of the countryside in the southern United States, lies a now quiet and abandoned compound that once echoed with laughter, life, and at its end, allegations of cult activity. This massive 40-acre estate holds a mansion, and 4 guest houses, all with everything left behind from expensive furniture to personalized clothing and belongings. The property also features 2 pools, an outdoor sports complex, and even a private lake with a custom-built log cabin lakehouse right beside it. But beneath the surface of this grand property lies a much darker tale. Built in 1986 by a Romanian family who found their fortune in the railroad business, these homes quickly became more than just family and recreational space, but the epicenter of a mysterious religious following. Allegedly, the family led a secretive cult, holding their gatherings in an unassuming building on the property, where whispers of unusual activities began to circulate around the community. As the years passed, however, the family's railroad empire began to crumble, and the pandemic dealt the final blow. Most of their fortune was gone, and the staggering mortgage became too much for them. They had no choice but to file for bankruptcy, and in 2022, a developer purchased the property, with new plans for a subdivision. Come with me as we take one last look at this property before it is gone forever.

GOD IT JUST KILLS ME HOW THEY COULD LEAVE SO MUCH EXPENSIVE FURNITURE AND APPLIANCES, AND CLOTHES BEHIND!!! Three trucks and trailers and that stuff would be gone.
Rich folks just blow my mind how they just throw stuff away like it's not any good.
Great find My Guy!!
This was an amazing find. It kills me that good furnishings and all are left to rot when they could be saved. The homes are beautiful why are they left to rot? Thanks for taking us along, much love and many blessings
Wow what a lot of bathrooms and bedrooms. You are right, it would be a wonderful holiday destination. Thank you for the tour.
Great homes. What a waste of furniture and homes😢.
When asked if you should jump in pool...I was thinking,'NO, there aren't enough antibiotics to cure what you get!' Clearly, you are both still alive!!
Haha, you’re absolutely right! That pool definitely looked like it needed a whole lot more than a quick cleaning. It’s sad to see all the furniture and memories left behind, though. Thanks for watching
Wow what a mansion & beautiful scenery! How could someone tare down this beautiful house! This is criminal! Awesome video as always!👍👍❤️🤘
Thank you so much! I know, it’s heartbreaking to think of all this beauty being torn down-the scenery and architecture are just incredible. I’m glad I could capture it before it’s gone. Thanks for watching and for the support! ❤
Most likely because cults are awful. Children are r@ped, abused, forced to be married at a young age, then reproduce. Look up cults…no one wants to keep anything that reminds you of
All the terror associated with it.
I wouldn’t want to live in a house where kids were being forced to do awful things.
Such a shame, beautiful place just rotting away! Beautiful furnishings . Thanks again for sharing! STAY SAFE AND GOD BLESS ❤❤❤❤

Pause and read this
"Dr. P.P. Job has adopted 501 girls."
The more you read the stranger it gets
Amazing! I'd be thrilled with just the lake house and an acre or two.
Right? That lake house alone would be a dream come true! Just a little slice of that beautiful property would be amazing.
Echoing something probably already mentioned. But why haven’t the furniture & items in the house sold at some kind of auction? I mean the furniture could have been donated.
It’s very concerning & kinda sus. For a house vacant for over 2+ years and it looks very clean. Sus.
It was owned by a cult. What do you expect?
With the plants on walls that my dear is hand painted so much talent . i love this home and land it would be great to live there with a big family .
Great video! That's an amazing property.
I can’t believe nobody has went in with a truck and took all that furniture. That needs to be donated
You beat me to the same comment, but I'm keeping alot of it.
@amandahazelwood3013 self donation?
@@MaR-k4c correct
Lovely home some one take things and give to charity shops please must had no money looks to dear to run and away to far out❤
I was thinking the same thing, very nice dressers beds, and what not could’ve been donated to families that needed
Wow what a great video! ❤ loved the property, such beautiful furnishings and buildings.
So beautiful, I would love to have some of that furniture. It's very sad that it is just sitting there and not being used by anyone.
What about the people who owned the home? What about the cult? Did you interview people in the area about what they thought? Do you have any of these people talking about what they suspected? Did the local authorities suspect anything? I feel like I'm with a couple of real estate agents that I am with an investigation.. Where did these people go? That big room could of been a meeting place of the people who owned the railroad business. Did you find anything that points towards a cult?
I know, right? He says he does research on these homes "after"...... the known history is the main reason I tune into these.....
What a beauiful home 🏠 every thing is left behind lovely furniture and the items left as well just want some repairs doing inside but the out side needs sorting out how sad i would love to own that must cost money to run that so big just hope it wont get youths destroying it it would be a shame for it to happen it should be protected with alarms really great video and great find stay safe😢
Thank you so much for the kind words! It’s definitely sad to see such a beautiful place just left behind, and you're right-it would take a lot of work and money to restore it. I agree; it deserves protection to keep it safe from damage. Glad you enjoyed the video, and thank you for watching! 😊
Wow what a beautiful House 🥰
It really is stunning, isn’t it? Glad I could share it with you-thanks for watching?
Why do you research after you explore? It seems it would be important to do that first. I would like more info about the family. I’m sure other people would like that too. Thanks for the tour though.
Beautiful and impressive homes. Very expensive furniture left behind. Some of the light fixtures are gorgeous. Appears to me as though the smaller homes were for family members to live in rather than a cult. One could have been used for guests or elderly parents to live in. I can't imagine being for a cult with such expensive furnishings. Each of the homes are very different yet beautiful. Would love to have a place like that where family could be together, yet apart at the same time. Great explore. Only wish you had said what state it's in. Also wish you had shown the china cabinet by the staircase in the first home as you went by it and one really couldn't see what it looked liked. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! I agree-the homes have such a unique beauty and look like they were designed with family in mind, which makes the story even more intriguing. I’ll make a note to get more close-ups on interesting pieces like that china cabinet in future videos. I cannot disclose what state it is in to not put the location in jeopardy
@@silent.hills.explorations Thank you for reply, it's the first I've received on any of the abandoned homes. It's appreciated.
I’m a new subscriber ,and you are doing an excellent job showing this house it is absolutely beautiful. I cannot believe that they’re gonna take this house down and it’s also hard to believe people would move out and leave all their stuff in it.
Welcome to the channel, and thank you so much for subscribing! I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos. It really is unbelievable to think they’d leave so much behind-and even more heartbreaking that it’s all set to be torn down.
The first house was definitely goosebumps vibes . That room in the first house you said you weren’t gonna go in. I wish you went in there. Lol 43:43 you missed a room lol
Unfortunately with all that mold in the room, I thought it was best not to.
I could live in the next to last house-I would love it! Much nicer than any mansion. I love the cabin feel.
I CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE THAT YALL JUMPED IN THAT NASTY POOL I PRAY THAT YALL DON'T GET SICK.
Ready to move in.
A light clean up and ready…
Haha, exactly! Just a little dusting and maybe a few repairs, and it’ll be good as new, right?
Woahhh 🔥🔥
Awesome place , thanks for sharing
I dont understand why we cant have the state this was built in so we can look into it ourselves if were interested to know more.
The developer needs to redo these houses and still put a new subdivision
The things they can turn this mansion into and it's wasting away. What a joke. Could be a lovely vacation home.
Could be great rental vacation homes
1st house is gorgeous and all those big furniture pieces. I am assuming where they went, they couldn't take it. It doesn't look light.
Why people abandoned ressources at the same time others poor have nothing 😢
Wow could turn them into several BNB'S , Keeping the main house for a young family with rooms and baths for the grandparent's on both sides of family and still plenty of room for everyone without losing privacy.
Absolutely! I was thinking the same thing!
The reason vines grow inside is because they don't need a big gap to enter. If the property was taken care of and weeded those vines would never have made it in
With the bathroom sign on the door I think that was a commercial operation
Could have been a retreat for troubled youths or a bible study camp.
So you wanna just replace it with another cult. That’s cool
@donovanamadeus no! I'm saying my theory on what it was used for originally.
No saving this house lots of mold it’s probably inside the walls too 😢
Every bed has pillows and blankets, thats rather odd, they just left in a hurry, maybe bank fraud.
Yes it would be cool to know where this is exactly? More history, like what families lived here?
Unfortunately if I give out too much information, the location will be found.
@@silent.hills.explorationswhat about the State though?
Do you guys get permission to explore these places? If not, it may be a good idea to better hide your identity to avoid trespassing charges
Wonder if these houses were all there and they bought the property which all was on? Obviously had to build that one where they might of had church service at. Definitely an interesting find
Bible in spanish on desk! 🤔 All so eerie & sad… so much waste…
6:43
I think you meant "preserves".
My wife made fun of me for saying "preservatives"
Also, that’s not water that’s glue in the bottom of that vase to hold the flowers in bud lmao smh…
Anyone ever wonder when watching these. If someone else see these videos that are like that use to be my house. Or I remember that house when I was a kid.
You guys actually jumped into that outdoor pool full of still pool water…?
I wonder how long this place has been abandoned?
I think the little houses on the shelf in the office came from flying a European airline. 15:10
I gotta ask, do you get permission from current owners to visit and explore?
This be the doggers house bro 👀👀
This was my first thought.
This looks like it was built in the early 1990’s.
❤❤❤❤
My thoughts are at onetime this was a residence. But the arrangement of the sofas, the metal chairs in each bedroom also the placard on the bathroom door (ladies/gents). Makes me think it was a Really nice brothel. Which makes sense that no personal things around and all furniture left behind. Possibly had to vacate for legalities.
The bank owns all of it I’m sure!
I want to know about the cult and religious stuff
👍
👍
can i buy this property for 350k something
Add a few 0s, and maybe
What happened to the family
Unfortunately I am not able to give out too much information as I dont want the location to be found.
