Got adamant from isle chest run, from small stockpile/supply cache on the way up mountain. Normal gear with luck on bags and trophies (doesnt effect craft mod drops). Harden Crystal (Enchanted Ward) also valuable so as a rule I just loot all chests that are in my path.
While I agree with your answer regarding luck gear and even your opinion on how it may make it harder to obtain adamant with luck on, I don't believe it is because you will then start getting "purple" items or more epic items. AGS has stated multiple times that luck will help increase your chance on rolling named items, furniture items, schematics, and trophy materials but it DOES NOT increase the quality of the loot you get. Just because you are running full luck gear does not mean you will see less blue and green or more common items.
In their last December video where they explain luck the devs said luck raises your ceiling AND floor, so how does that not kick common loot out when your ceiling and floor is raised to higher loot tables? And this is from ags own video where he says that it does.
This is perfect for me since I am returning player needing to upgrade my azoth staff and get my heartrune so I will be spending a lot of time in Great Cleave and Brimstone Sands anyway and wouldn't mind the diversions. Thanks!

Luck does not affect the drop, and the best place to farm it is in Brimstone. This is because Brimstone has a lower amount of items in the pool where adamant is found.
5k hours on, luck is working very well, especialy for craft mods chance, its like the only thing to use luck for remember runnin low lvl zones for stats mods it was so much faster with luck
Luck is such a strange thing in new world :D Maybe Test a bit around, maybe you hit the sweetspot for adamant/craft mods in general. Before someone tells me there isn’t a sweetspot: I struggled so hard with artifact drops, then I changed my luckgear to 3 bags with luck and 3 big luck trophies and that’s it, I farmed 4 artifacts in one day (2 hours) most of them in first try, gladiator shield in 2nd mammoth and odo in 5th… i am pretty sure now you can hit it :D another thing to mention: when I consume luck food in a dungeon, my loot changes from a lot of legendary loot (without luckfood) to mostly blue and green loot. :)
The devs explained in one of their videos. Luck effects what drops on like a sliding scale. Like items are ranked 1 to 100. No luck means you roll on items 1 through 70...high luck means you roll on items 50 to 100. If that makes sense

When I run the same dungeon on the same difficulty with everything exact the same, except the fact I consume luck food, my drops are worse. Normally it shouldn’t affect it and if it does, it should make my loot better. Why is it the opposite?
People forgot there are a lot of items can be earn not only gathering but craft the consumable items... I consumable items by selling it by 75k gold in just a week the smallest figure was 18k gold but its a good long term income...

On my server a lot of items are pretty worthless so i dont even bother opening chests. Anyhow. Make a toon for faction (doesnt matter) Make a company and move the gold through it. You can invite alts to your company but make sure to change the limit withdrawal to zero. I recently made 110k gold for the month of jan due to my main account catching a ban via chat nonsense. If you go this route just use sword and shield. All you will need to do this. Dont need off hand weapon at all.

luck have no impact and have been the most overated perk for a long time luck did have a impact on the game the first few months but now it only for show i have 9 carr with 2 beeing the main 2 and so this 2 have prob 6k hours and the other 7 share around 1k hours and they have been more luckey. it´s all rng

agree. your loot will only adds purple,schem or legendaries. the green is just default.

I did this specific run for 4 Days like 3-6 hrs per day sadly not a single dropp so far.
Yeah I did it for like 3 hour, no drop. Besides adamant it's like 3k in my server so it's by far a really bad way to make gold.
on about my 10th run, zero so far. my RNG has always sucked.
Yeah I think it's broken, nwdb isn't stating it can drop and seems back to PVP

only reason to run luck set is actually craft mods, dont listen to dumb ppl who are unlucky they dont get it in 10chests :DD

i craft matrixes and make about 30k pure profit every day. I also use buy orders for lower prices.

New option in last patch. You can change it to one column and also rearrange the order of the categories. Look for filters at top.

if u want gold there are other methods far more reliable and easier such as just getting a woodcutter gear and farm bananas or just hunt animal skin
