He finally did it! Ash won his first Pokemon League! To help you celebrate we've come up with this delightful Pokemon Jelly Bread recipe!
While the dough is rising, let us know in the comments below which Pokemon you would take into a final bout for a Pokemon league.
INGREDIENTS:
BREAD ROLLS
1 egg
1/4 cup honey
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp instant dry yeast
1/4 cup butter, salted
1/2 cup warm milk
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
LEMON MARMALADE
6 meyer lemons (4 cups chopped lemons)
4 cups granulated sugar
4 cups water
INSTRUCTIONS:
BREAD ROLLS
1. In a mixing bowl, add warm milk and yeast. Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes, or until the yeast has bloomed. Add the pineapple juice, sugar, melted butter, salt and eggs. Stir until combined.
2. Slowly add the flour to the bowl, adding 1 cup at a time. Stir until all the ingredients are incorporated. Sprinkle just enough of the remaining 1/2 cup of flour, still stirring, until the dough gathers in the center of the bowl.
3. Turn the dough over onto a floured board. Knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic, about 6-10 minutes. Add more flour as needed to help with the stickiness while kneading.
4. Roll the dough into ball and place it in a bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let rise for 1 and 1/2 hours to 2 hours or until the size is doubled. Meanwhile, grease a large baking pan.
5. Gently deflate the dough and divide to 18-22 equal portions. Roll each portion into a smooth ball and place it in the prepared baking pan. Cover them loosely with a clean kitchen towel. Let them rise again for 1 hour.
6. Preheat oven to 350 F. Brush the tops of the buns with butter and bake for 16-20 minutes, or until tops are golden.
LEMON MARMALADE
1. Wash the lemons and slices the ends off of them. Cut them into segments and remove the membranes as much as possible. Slice them into small triangles.
2. Place the lemon segments and water into a large pot and boil on high heat for about 30 minutes until the peels are soft.
3. Add the sugar and cook until it becomes a jelly consistency, for about 15-20 more minutes.
4. Remove from heat and strain to remove the peels and chunks.
Spread the jelly on top of the bread rolls and sprinkle some pink pearl dust for the Pokemon magic!

That bread looks really good, I have two requests.
From The Arcana, there is a Pumpkin bread which sounds pretty interesting, The Arcana is a visual novel type game which is pretty interesting to play.
Another request is from the anime Bungou Stray Dogs, it is called Tea Over Rice, it looks pretty good in the anime, and the way the character Atsushi described how he makes it sound really good. I also recommend that anime if you have not seen it already, it is very interesting.

Grepa Berries are technically an equivalent to Grapefruits, with sweet, sour and bitter. But this does look decadent.
Besides, lemons of any kind would more than clearly be represented as the Nomel Berry in the Pokemon universe. Ulu didn't use a single Nomel Berry in his recipe as far as I know. That's why I made a Grapefruit jelly instead of a lemon jelly when I made this.

What I found out while making this recipe. Measure out your yeast, because while it looks like they use one packet there is a little less than a tablespoon in those packets. I had two different brands on hand.
Marmalade needs to set. It will not get a jelly like texture straight out of the pot. I found that out on my second batch, I threw out the first thinking I had done something wrong. I had decided to buy some pectin the next day because I couldn't justify wasting even more lemons.
This last one is on me and the video. Make sure to read the recipe. If you just go off the video you will just make the dough and let it rest instead of kneading it and then letting it rest.
