Interesting thought. Then everlasting consciousness might turn out to be one's heaven or hell. And, what if there is no "last mercy"? Maybe this life is the only chance we get. I think of Jesus' parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31.
Methinks so too. How do you bring order to conversations among the dead, not being one yourself? Besides, he himself hinted to the difficulty of comprehending some of the outbursts of one lone distant dead or another! @@mikedavidson1970
