    I still got a pair of 1990 KYb 41mm forks around that have a pair of bleed holes drilled on the dampening rods, homemade punched shims, custom valve bosses, custom Nylatron rod bushings, and some other crazy stuff. These forks were from my works yz250, they lacked separate low speed adjustments so all this was to get a good soft low speed dampening without the excessive front end dive, at the same time better high speed dampening. The ports in the rebound valve were also opened up and polished. I don't have the bike anymore but still have the forks and shock. We also cut the upper shock mounts off and changed the angle of the shock.

    If you were around in the 80's and 90's you would have seen some crazy stuff done on suspension. The forks we had sucked compared to today, especially when yamaha introduced its upside down fork. The shock setups were ok stock but required a lot of valving changes to work well.

    Então por exemplo para HardEnduro o melhor é uma suspensão com uma maior compressão para absorver melhor o impacto e uma maior extensão para recuperar rápido e ter boa tração ?

    • @StepstoPodium
      @StepstoPodium  3 роки тому +1

      O que queres dizer com maior compressão?
      Tanto para compressão e extensão, convém reduzires o amortecimento de modo a deixares que as suspensões possam absorver os obstáculos sem os sentires no guiador :)

    • @Mr107FB
      @Mr107FB 3 роки тому

      Steps to Podium, falo da maior ou mais rápida compressão da suspensão quando apanha um obstáculo de maneira a ser um impacto o mais suave possível ( não sei se me consegui explicar 🙄).
      Por exemplo na minha WP(2015) tenho os clicks bastante idênticos de compressão/extensão, bastantes clicks para mais suavidade em ambos (creio eu 😂)

    • @StepstoPodium
      @StepstoPodium  3 роки тому

      sim, é isso ☺ abre os clicks todos se queres algo melhor para Hard enduro 😂

    hi, can i ask? in the AMA supercross championship the rear is very high and stiff, is it a particular calibration? or very preloaded spring?

    • @StepstoPodium
      @StepstoPodium  Рік тому +1

      It is only because the damping setting is really stiff and doesn't allow almost any compression since it generates a lot of damping from nearly stopped
