I know these Round One units are getting harder to find, but they were definitely made better than today's stuff. Also, those with the 6-blade fans are the most unique, and that fan actually sounds like an airplane propeller at full throttle.
Lot of old AC units here in Arizona. I had a 1977 day and night packaged unit on the roof of my house until 2007 replaced with a goodman only lasted 10 years the compressor fried. Those older ones did last longer it's the 2nd house I had with 30-year-old AC heat pumps.
