My mom had a biopsy almost 6 months ago, but now after the biopsy on the same where she had the mark, she can feel a little lump is this normal? ( before the biopsy nothing could be felt )
@@Smile_Please591 of course. I went into the doctor for my mammogram and they found a lot of calcium buildup in my left breast. So because of this concern they recommended a biopsy. To remove the abnormal tissue to test it for cancer. Once that was done the results came back inconclusive. So I had to have surgery to remove the abnormal tissue. The process of the biopsy included numbing the area in which they need to remove the tissue. That was extremely painful! I laid on my stomach and placed my breast in like this holding tank lol and that stuck a needle in which felt AWFUL!
When she said that they leave the marker in the breast, my immediate next thought was "does it set off metal detectors?" and she immediately answered it which leads me to believe that she gets that question a lot😂
When I was told that the Titanium clip would be left in permanently, my first thought was why didn’t you tell me before you put it in. I react badly to everything. I’m still in pain weeks later and I can still feel the breast lump.
My radiologist clipped everywhere but there the SMALL pea size module was. Also requested not to have clips or remove lymph nodes. Now have a tender, deformed looking breast.
Going in tomorrow morning for a biopsy. I dont understand the 20% comment about coming back cancer, my ultrasound bi-rad score was 4 which means I have a 30% chance of my biopsy coming back as positive for cancer. Anyway, I am not sure, I’m just so anxious about it all!
@@griffithswife1704 it was non cancerous. Biopsy was very easy, no pain and quick. Took 3 days for results to come back. Just a fibroadenoma. I do have to come back for mri check in May (6 months from when I had biopsy). I am now at higher risk. Fun fun. But yah, good to know I am cancer free. Good luck to you.
@@jenhopkins8867 I did! You were right it wasn't painful at all but it was very intense and scary lol. I haven't got my results yet though. But thank you so much, much love to you as well 💜💜

I just got my biopsy done today. The anesthesia was so painful and the procedure isn’t pretty , but I would recommend it just to be safe
Can Uh tell what's ur experience?

I had a biopsy 1 week ago. They sent my sample off for further study. I got my results back but I don't quite understand them. Help please.

What if I don’t want a marker/clip in my body
Can I request?
Good luck, I request but I keep feeling small nodules. I think they sneak it in anyway
I don't want them either.
@@machella1233wouldn't that go against what you said you didn't want😮
This was very informative. Thank you.

Hi! I also have a birad score of 4 so I was wondering what did your biopsy results come back as?
