      Explain -
Harris and Democrats lost because -
DNC policies are contrary to Economic Laws, biological facts, Separation of Powers, and the Constitution.
In summary, DNC policies are polished turds.
Pilot term for trying to pass off a defective aircraft via a new paint job.
      Ex -
Tax rates based on manufactured class warfare, not the Laffer Curve
Pretending Illegal Aliens don't diminish wages of the Working Poor
(95% of Illegal Aliens do not work on farms)
Defending racism in SCOTUS (Students for Fair Admissions)
Defending Executive Agency power over courts in SCOTUS (Loper Bright Enterprises)
(Fighting NOT to restore Separation of Powers)
Defending no Right to a jury trial if charged by an Executive Agency (Loper Bright Enterprises)
      Boys in girls sports
Taxpayer funded transgender surgery for Illegal Aliens
Changing "pregnant women" to "pregnant persons" on Federal websites
      Weak and feckless foreign policy
Inferior policies aside, Harris is a buffoon, and sorry, stupid.
She avoided an unscripted chat with Joe Rogan for the reasons just noted.
      Additionally -
She box checked to get into law school, then failed the Bar exam.
Not the best and brightest by a longshot,
      and certainly no role model.
"You too can ascend to offices for which you're not qualified-
If you have sex with married men in power,
and humiliate yourself as a side-chick to men in power"
      Apples to Apples -
Every single nominee for a role in the Trump Cabinet or Administration is more qualified than Harris is for Vice President.
This from my openly biased position -
As a tri-racial Hispanic Jewish Independent Libertarian with an Economics background,
with no skin in the game for either major party.

This is the big question. As someone who is from the African continent whenever I see a politicians lips moving I know they are lying. I was one of the people who thought Starmer would get into office and stick 2 fingers up at the media, bring in a wealth tax, invest in green policies, cancel the 2 child policy and the bedroom tax etc etc. Admittedly he' had less than 6 months so far and one of the first real policies was removing the winter fuel allowance for pensioners just before winter! Yes the universal payment needed to be reviewed but in the Spring for next year. Not everyone needs it but the policy was too harsh and at totally the wrong time
The first pensioner who dies because they didn't put the heating on ( which happens every year) will be completely blamed on Labour and this policy. The press will have a field day and people will turn to Reform who will undoubtedly promise to restore it. And that's just one policy🤦‍♀️

I don't put a lot of certainty on these occurrences, because it all depends on what our oligarchy wants. The question is what will the military do if asked to violently suppress a protest? The military has been anticipating this kind of thing for a long time. The personnel in the military are taught over and over that following illegal orders are against the law and anyone who follows an illegal order will be punished severely. Maybe not at the moment but eventually. They are also taught that using violence against US citizens is illegal. My guess is that some will follow such an illegal order and some won't. This will fracture the military and cause a civil war the likes that you have never seen.

Luckily, there are rational minded Republicans who are making plans to keep some of his crazy stuff from happening. A lot of it is just playing against the law or impossible to even implement. So I don't think as many of his bad things will happen, but along with that, I don't think many of his good promises are going to happen..... Like lower prices on all sorts of things.

Nobody can say as Trump is s flighty but he will try. Question is can the famous balancing powers prevent the worst? Optimists point to a razor thin Republican majority as a reason for hope. It seems thin to me. The next four--or 8/12/16---years will show us all.

Just as in business, you don't need to please every customer, please 80% of them and you can be profitable. All businesses expect to write off 10-20% of the dissatisfied customers, trying to win them back can cost more, and that energy and resource can be better focused on retention of the 80%.

It seems that, in the US, it's only necessary to represent the wishes of the wealthiest donors.
Most media networks are willing to spout anything to ensure ratings, and most voters will believe whatever they're told by their favoured 'influencer' without any critical thinking or due diligence. That is how propaganda works.
Since Citizens United, money in politics has meant that those with the deepest pockets can dictate policy, corrupt the legislative, judicial and administrative branches, and basically run the US a as a personal bank for those in control.

  • @Antonnick
    @Antonnick 4 години тому +1

Too much emphasis, interesting as it is, is placed on US politics, influence and culture way beyond wha tis reasonable by the rest of the world. The europeans as a group have a sort of "war" on two fronts. We have a militarily aggressive russia on one side and an economic aggressor on the other. Is it not really time for this continent to resist both?
In some ways, the BRICS organisation ( if it were not supported by some very autocratic extremeist nations) is a good idea. US finance and corporations dominate the world and it is about time that alternatives were available such that there would be little or any dependance on US politics, fickle as it is and about as democratic as a George III government.

They promised nothing and over the last 2 1/2 years delivered it. They are looking at being a one term government.
I suspect that will be the same for Labour unless they pull their fingers out PDQ.
