My hangover changed in my 40s suddenly I would wake up after just 2 hours of sleep and be awake all night, the next day I would be depressed and tired, the worst feeling of all was the guilt and shame. I don't miss any of that at all
I had the worst hangover of my life yesterday. Well. Maybe not the worst but. The worst in a while. Too much of a hangover for a responsible adult!!! I was in a weird mood and just didn’t pay attention, most of the time I do and cut myself off. Bleh. 🤢. I’m thinking of quitting entirely.
27 years old and I've been hospitalized for pancreatitis 7 times. 123 days sober today! I do not miss the misery of being an alcoholic. The first 2 months I struggled with euphoric recall. Fantasizing of the euphoria produced by alcohol, but now after doing some work on my spiritual life, I don't think of drinking much anymore. I'm getting a clearer image of how bad my drinking was, jnstead of fantasizing about the euphoric effects that only lasted in the first 8 drinks for me. After that it was just a sloshy, depressing night of me being isolated in my room alone. I'm actually living life and making memories and experiencing life and all of my senses in a way I've never experienced. I'm finally awake now and I have regained my place back into society.
Can I ask you do you know anyone that has gotten negative effects even from light to moderate drinking by the way? I’m trying to use this to convince others not to drink as well
@@learningvideosbynikhil8308 for some people the liver is a weakness and can be affected even by regular processed and junk food, add to that some moderate alcohol consumption and yes it's definitely possible to cause fatty liver and if a person continues on that path it can progress to fibrosis. Iv just been diagnosed with mild to moderate fatty liver, now I am quitting alcohol for good.
I’m 10 hours sober. I relapsed after 5 days clean. I’m staying sober today and doing the work for tomorrow as well. It is a struggle but thank you for this channel. It helps me. Have a wonderful sober day everyone. Peace

We like to take cruises. My husband likes to drink on a cruise. At home, he doesn’t drink unless I do. Well, I quit drinking about a month ago. Day 32! So, on the next cruise, he has purchased the drink package. I’m not drinking anything that has alcohol in it. I’m done with it. I choose health!

My hangovers became less and less as I became fatter and fatter. I became so fat I had to drink at least double for same effect. Also when I quit smoking I could drink so much more. I did feel I was coming dangerously close to physical dependence.
I bet most people here have had day one ...again. The fact that you are here now speaks volumes to you as a person. Am i the only one experiencing that my hangovers got milder as the years went by. After 30 i stopped getting hangovers alltogether.
My hangovers didn’t get worse, because I just stayed drunk, lol! Great video Jae
Drunk wisdom at its finest 🤣
Love ya Jae!

DAY 9, Feeling great!
Ain’t this the truth. They’ve been worse than they’ve ever been.
Happy days ahead my friend! Dare to find out 🫶
Breaking news: growing old sucks
My hangovers became less and less as I became fatter and fatter. I became so fat I had to drink at least double for same effect. Also when I quit smoking I could drink so much more. I did feel I was coming dangerously close to physical dependence.
hello Jae
Whatever you do, do not start morning drinking to get rid of hangovers. That's all I'll say. Don't do it!!
I am sober from Feb 2 2024....

I’m back at Day 1.
We are all imperfect. Start over again to improve yourself. The restart is more important than the stumble.
@@gwillis01 thank you. I could use some kind words today.
@@MichaelaH2059 I'm always willing to give a word of encouragement.
I bet most people here have had day one ...again. The fact that you are here now speaks volumes to you as a person. I don't know how long you were sober for but say 6 days you drank one day then started again, that is still amazing, 6 days sober out of 7. There are lots of people who would love that ratio. Keep going Michael. I'm 43 days sober. But I've had more than 5, 6 and 2 weeks sober days than I can remember. Just keep going. No judgement here. We are all with you 🙏
You should do lives
did them for 2 years straight.
I’m 33 and was never much of a drinker in my youth but had other substance abuse issues and physically dependencies
About a year after Covid I was going through a really dark time and developed quite the thirst
Was drinking about a 5th a day of gin for a year and a half before I hit a bottom of sorts and quit cold turkey
After about a year I started doing it again on rare social occasions and every time I actually get one on I pay for it for the next week
Almost spoils the whole experience completely
Wasted money.
fail. maybe tomorrow will be d 1. sorry, tomorrow can b d1 LT
good news 2 weeks no weed. yeah.
We are all imperfect. If you fail seven times, get up eight times.
