Hey . You be walking through the area I used to live in. Everything in this video is exactly my experience. Olas Altas beach is where I be everyday. You get a chance, checkout Posada Rodger hotel for any friends that might come down to visit. Have you been to Brookly Cafe yet, great place owened by a sister from NY. Be sure to do some trips north of town to Bucerias, San francisco, Punta de Mita, also south of town to yhe Botanical Gardens and the Zoo. If you like pancakes try Freddie Tucans... I could go on an on. I am in Oaxaca state right now, another place to checkout. This is where you will see folks that look like you. I am so happy to see our folks seeing the world. Thank you so much for the video . Vallarta is great!!
Thanks for watching. We are planning a trip to Oaxaca in June. We don't live too far from Brooklyn Cafe. It's about a 8 min walk. Brown Girl Butter has recently bought it but there is still the karaoke night every other week. Mama Chula's Jamaican restaurant is another place a lot of us hang out at. There is a game night every other Wednesday so there are plenty of met ups here.
Glad I found your channel. We’re moving down to Centro right on the other side of the hill from you guys. Near Barcelona Tapas!!!! Cannot wait!!!!Adios Amigos
The lane you live on is so charming and quaint, could walk around that area all day ! We went to Oscar’s last October but didn’t realise there was so much to see behind the restaurant. This was such an enjoyable video, hope you will do more walk arounds:))
Just found your channel, nice walk. Thanks for showing us the sights and sounds of Puerto Vallarta. I was there once in a touristy area. I need to return
Nice! We only made it to Iguana Bridge, and turned around. We didn't know there was another bridge behind the restaurant. We like how you showed walking past Pancho's Tacos all the way back to the bridge to the island. There's so much we didn't know about past Pancho's! More please and restaurants too. Thank you!
Just found your channel and loved this tour! We were just there a couple weeks ago and I had no idea we were this close to your cute neighborhood. Still so much for us to come back and see. Thank you! 💖
I believe I watched all your videos but I somehow missed your move from the open concept place to now a home? Congrats!!! I would love to hear what led to the switch and the cost to the new place. My husband and I are planning to move in two years with as many visits in between to understand the neighborhoods then likely rent while we look for a home.
Beautiful walk🤩We visited Puerto Vallarta last May 2022 but I wished we were spending more time there, we only went to the malecón where the stones are. Our main destination was Sayulita. Blessings from the Bay Area. 💝
Really enjoyed the video! Do you know the name of the street or intersection where the churro man and Italian place is? Also do you have a preferred place to chill on the beach?
Thanks for watching Britney. There are a lot of beaches out here and we haven't ventured too far away from where we live. Of the beaches that we have visited, we like the beaches along the Hotel Zone and by Centro the most so far. It's more crowded by the peer and the water is not always as pretty because that's where the river dumps into it. The Italian restaurant is called DI NUOVO. It's really good. I believe the intersection where the churro man is, is Naranjo & Lazaro Cardenas. He sets up right in front of a church.
Really pretty park, metal slides, yep they burn your butt when the sun hits them, lol. I think that bridge is the Iguana Bridge (I just saw a video that mentioned it). The wall art is beautiful! It's so nice to see people out and about, you have a pretty neighborhood!
That's a really "loaded" question. It depends on what part of PV you want to be in, what season it is and what kind of amenities you're looking for. They can go from $300-$5000 monthly USD depending on how you want to live. :-) It's always best to come in the low season and look for rentals. You will get the best prices.
We would recommend the romantic zone, the hotel zone, centro and even Versailles. These are walkable areas to beaches and other areas. We lived in an area called gringo gulch and it was around everything we needed.
Just found your channel! Lovely video. I'm looking to retire and love Vallarta. Do you have a car? I'm guessing you wouldn't need one living where you do. Thanks!
@@aginggrateful Once I hadn't been there for 2 yrs. and, then, I walking into the bar I was surprised I knew all three people there at 3PM in the afternoon!!!! Without any pesos, I had no problem ordering a drink to celebrate!!!! These are things I love about Mexico - I bring my dog to the restaurant and I'm welcomed or I left my wallet at home and I'm still welcomed. There's a few places at home where that happens, but there's actually more places in Mexico!!!!
I have lived here in Mexico for many years. Isn't it very hot, humid and expensive because if all the tourists? I don't enjoy walking around or sitting in the sauna.
@@aginggrateful Thank you for responding back and I know different people enjoy different types of weather. I grew up in South Florida and lived in Las Vegas for many years and I've grown a bit tired of the hot weather. I've been living here in Cuernavaca Mexico for many years, because it's sunny in the 80s almost every day and 60 at night with low humidity. Ajijic, Lake Chapala, San Miguel de Allende also have weather I really like. I really enjoy sitting outside comfortably without sweating.
I was watching, and suddenly I saw a superhero walking by you! If you guys (creators) would like to know what I'm talking about, just comment and I'll show you what I'm talking about. It deserves a video of It's own. Mandame un mensaje privado si quieres carnal, estoy cerca en tijuana.
I apologize for those mexican drivers, I am from Tijuana and they drive like pedestrians don’t exist. They don’t even look at pedestrians 🤦🏽♀️ Saludos from the Bay Area in California.

What a beautiful street, and a fantastic walk, thank you!
Nice walking tour. Great to see that they are painting the tunnel. We donated to that project. It looks great!
Yes, it really is looking great. Thank you for your comment.

Lovely tour! Would love to hear more about how you found your place in a future video.
Thanks. We actually talked about that and the rental process in Our First Week Living Abroad video.

Very good tour. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it.
I LOVE that area!! If you could share name of it that would be great. If you would rather not, I totally get it.
Thanks!
The neighborhood is Zona Romantica and Gringo Gulch which is in Centro.
Nice Walkabout!
Thanks UA-cam fam.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE NICE VIDEO
Great vid! You guys are living my dream. I have a ton of questions so I'll watch your vids for answers. Good luck with the channel. 😊
Thank you @Dedrick L! We appreciate you watching. Let us know if we can assist with any questions left unanswered. 😀
wow!!!!!
I love puerto Vallarta.
Love this! ❤ we'll be there in July! Hope it's not crowded 🌞
God bless you 🕊
It shouldn’t be crowded in July. It’s considered the low season so you should be good.

How close are you guys to Downtown Puerto Vallarta. Love the architecture.
We live in downtown. This is the downtown we are walking in.
Great video. What are price ranges for a single appt, rental?

How is the weather there
LOOKS LIKE ABURI IN GHANA WEST AFRICA.. THE MOUNTAINS AND ALSO LIKE CAPE COAST.. THE COAST 🇬🇭✊🏿🇬🇭
We have never been but sounds like it’s amazing. Maybe we can plan a visit there.
@@aginggrateful Yes, thanks 👍🏽

Hello! Thank you for looking at our video! We don’t have a car, we mainly walk everywhere. LOL! We do an occasional Uber as well.
This is what I miss about Mexico, you can just walk places 🥲
That neighborhood is beautiful!! What is the name of it? Would love to visit it one day. ❤😊
Hello, the neighborhood is called Gringo Gulch and Zona Romantica.
Beautiful ❤. Thank you 😊
Panchos tacos are good! And line what's not bad. I guess i was just lucky that day.
We'll like see you on the island someday - we often walk that way. Seems like you're in Gringo Gulch?
Yes, we are in that area! Hope to see you around there sometime.

Good tour. Looking at moving to Bucerias next year, gotta get out of U.S. Mexican people are much nicer overall.
