  • Initial impressions of the Carapaks offset foot pegs - 5mm back / 5mm down. I'm riding a 2023 GasGas EC300
These add a lot more grip to the rear wheel and make it a bit easier to balance. They do this at the expense of the front end feel.
I think these pegs are great for hard enduro and slower technical riding where quick feeling / flick-able front end isn't that important.

very good video and explanation. You can raise the forks a couple of 2 mm and it could compensate for the feeling of less traction at the front. I also use 5mm down and 5mm low fotpegs, best regards from Guadalajara, Mexico 🔥. Also your knee brace video. He helped me choose good protection for my knees. thanks for your video

Great idea on the forks and thanks for watching! We rode a couple days this week on faster trails, and you do get used to the front end feel, even at stock fork height.

Good breakdown of pros cons. At 6'3 and lanky im always interested in going down some but hesitant to go backwards much

I hear you! I think "back" is a very situation/application dependent thing, just like tires.
I will say that I really enjoy the sharper teeth, my feet have been staying very planted and the general feel of the pegs is superb.
