@@BelowTheApron problem with the "rule book" as we have always seen it is selectively enforced. You can bet if this was Chase Elliot, they wouldn't have said anything about it. Just like the no pass below yellow line at daytona/degga always selective in enforcement.

On a serious note, NASCAR needs to get rid of its damaged vehicle policy. All they had to do was get rid of "Boys Have at It," and they wouldn't have to counteract it with like a hundred BS rules.

Oh his car looked like it was all torn up. Was it billowing smoke? Was it leaking oil onto the track? Or some other serious hazard? No! So this whole thing is nascars fault. It says in the rules that they can black flag a car. But this is ridiculous. They didn’t pull this garbage back in 1970. 😁
Honestly, this is the kind of scene NASCAR needs more of. They have gotten so far out of hand with their rules and regulations. Just let them race the damn cars!

Ok Nascar(heads of), he didn't wreck a guy head on into the wall, so please take it a little easy on whatever punishment you give him, gonna be so disappointed if they try and suspend him for a race or something but that being said nascar hates being tested and or embarrassed. We need this type of, wtf just happened more often, as long as it's safe.

Nascar lost its way a long time ago. Notice that there is a lack of paying fans. Back in the day (1960's/1970's) the cars actually resembled real cars. Not the crap they call a "Stock Car" today. Love this guy for taking a stand.
By the rules today 2/3 of the cars in the 60's and 70's wouldn't be allowed on the track ! Nascar = gone off the rails !
So I guess Nascar has set a new precedent, any car that causes a debri caution is to be parked.

Now I happened to be listening on SXM when the dudes calling the shots said caution due to debris and parts falling offa somebody's ride cause the bondo wasn't sticking 'cause it was cold. They said this here fella was mad at NASCAR and them and parked his car @ the finish and in so many words like all of us have done or wanted to do and said "just *u_it" yall feel me. bro.

but what did the other drivers have to do with it? Why interrupt their race to have a tantrum, and what about the hazards of parking a car on the track in the middle of a race. I guess he gave a big middle finger to the other racers who did nothing to him, as well. Let's not kid ourselves, NASCAR is going to do what they want, and his little tantrum will do little to change their practices. On the other hand, I see that his merch is selling like hotcakes. He will have enough to pay his fines and then some. He didn't do it for attention, but he's definitely making the most of it.

Nascar don't want small teams in nascar ! A friend of mine tried to run at charlotte and inspection picked that car to death . He finally told them to stick it where the sun don't shine and went home !
