I'm guessing the reason Nick Gage dropped the title was because he's officially signed with AEW? For some reason I thought the Nick Gage Jericho match was just a one and done deal for Nick Gage but apparently he's signed with them which is awesome because now Moxley and Gage can showcase their over a decade long feud on national television. That rivalry has such a rich and long backstory.
I barely know anything about GCW but watched the Gage/Cardona match and Gage def. Said he was gonna get the belt back and get revenge on whoever screwed him over in the match lol... Doubt he's signing to AEW.
