DUDE, i have no idea how you can make a soundtrack review so freaking hilarious to watch, but i am in love with your content! I just NEED to see you review some Miitopia music. That would be absolute comedy gold, plus i'm genuinely curious to hear your opinion on such an obscure OST!
Omg i never noticed that from remix 7 im totally mindblown rn 😱. I’ve played this game so much and often came back on YT for the music, but the remix 7 really went over my head. Love this vid 💯💪🏾
Hey, it's me again! Time for me to answer some of your questions/viewer requests! This comment will be long, so please be weary of that. 3:58 I believe Remix 3 is a more contemporary song, similar to a slowed Pasodoble. 6:35 Yes, it is the fastest Remix in the franchise, and it's also the third fastest song in the entire series! 8:36 I have to agree with you! The song starts off very reminiscent of Pop songs, but transitions into more Funk-- the trumpets and bassline are mainly the reason I believe this. As for my personal Rhythm Heaven DS Top 10 List, here it is! #1: Blue Birds (5/5) #2: Glee Club (5/5) #3: Freeze Frame (5/5) #4: Love Lab (5/5) #5: Cromp Stomp (4.9/5) #6: Moai Doo-Wop 2 (4.8/5) #7: Frog Hop (Young Love Rock 'N' Roll) (4.7/5) #8: DJ School (4.6/5) #9: Remix 10 (4.3/5) #10: Karate Man (Struck by the Rain) (4.3/5) Woo, that was a long one. As for OSTs I recommend, I'd say Mario Kart Wii, Miitopia, and Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity all have phenominal soundtracks. Love your work and how much love and effort you put into these, will support you the whole way through!
Good to hear from you again bud!! Thanks for answering all my questions, it’s really impressive how much you seem to know. Also, like how you put in your own ranking. Thanks for your support!! :D
so spot on ! only thing i’d disagree with here is with remix 3 i think they were going for an enka sound, a post war, japanese-western fusion genre (see tsugaru kaikyo fuyugeshiki if ur interested, you’ll see the musical similarities !) they translated it as ‘spaghetti western’ in the european version of the remix description bc they weren’t bout to explain what enka was to the western audience haha
Taking its theming into account, Remix 3 is likely supposed to be an Enka song. Enka is a genre of traditional Japanese music that, in its modern form, combines that traditional style with blues to make a sentimental ballad type of song. In RH, they likely went all in on the blues inspiration by having the saxophone as the melodic line.
Man, your videos are amazing!! So much work and so funny, I got into rhythm heaven last year when I was going through a loss cause it's so joyful and just kept my brain occupied, and it makes me so happy to find creators who find as much joy in it as I do
It’s astonishing to me that Space Soccer on the DS was originally going to be Tap Troupe We were so close to losing the best game in the series (or at least in my opinion) And just a fun fact that remix 9 DS is my favorite remix in the entire series, and it contains all of my top 3 games (Space Soccer, Crop Stomp, and Splash Down) It’s the best coincidence
This is late but Samurai Slice DS actually does have other verses in it! They just don't show up until you get further into the endless game, around the 300 point mark. Shoot-em-up endless also eventually lowers the music volume during the shooting part aroud the 200,000 mark.
Something that really confused me was that on remix 6, when the 'rockers' part plays at some point, the 'bending notes' thing is there, but you dont have to press the 'r' button anyway, it just does it automatically... What really confused me was that it wasnt properly introduced until rockers 2 on the tutorial, but its in remix 6 for some reason?? Really threw me off the first time i played it lol. (Sorry for bad explaining, hopefully someone understands..)
fun fact, remix 3 is (debatably) in 12/8! it's very similar to 4/4 but it has a swingy feel and emphasis on triplets, at least in this case flabbergasted that you rated rhythmove dungeon higher than rhythm tweezers 😔
He would have to play the whole game completely and somehow manage to beat Abs Rad to get that ost and recognize the epicness. I dont think he could nor wish he to go through Pantheon of Hallownest.
@@dr.zapatoso7220Actually, the furthest he would have to get is to beat P3 and normal radiance. Absrad uses the same theme as normal radience, and he could just turn on godseeker mode for everything else in godhome.
I think most Rhythm Heaven DS players have the OK song engrained in their head for eternity.
More like the first 5 seconds cause we usually skip it immediately to try again
@@GamingMadnessOfficial those first three notes taunt me for the rest of eternity
For me, it’s the try again theme.
I came looking for someone to confim this!
@@jaxsterminator8634Same
The meme potential with this man is impossibly high! Loving the content. Remember to stay Wonderful, I suppose!
There is no bad rhythm heaven song. Literally every song is good. (Well, unless you count Quiz Show, but we don't talk about that)
well the quiz show opening theme is good i guess
@@nohintshere thats true

The greenscreen-work is just phenomenal;-;!
And I honestly thought that I was the only one who put crop stomp into my top 10???
Nice to know I'm not the only one!
I think a soundtrack dive on LocoRoco or Patapon would be pretty neat. Real good to see a new upload though, highlight of my day!

Great video! You should review the music from Crypt of the Necrodancer next, seems you haven't played it but it SLAPS
remix 8 beats the rest. really good video tho. keep up the good stuff.
I feel like people don’t cut Remix 1 DS enough slack. It’s a banger.
i would pay to watch you doing lockstep IRL

Two great videos, enjoyed every jam out session a lot. Very relatable hahahahah

Remix 4 (ds) is said to have to highest bps in the beginning due to munchy monky, other wise the bps gets cut in half for all other sections.
tunnel is probs my favourite track in all the rhythm heaven series bc i am unashamedly a sucker for bossa/smooth jazz/elevator music fuckery

Its finally here :D
And I'm semi disappointed that he didn't mention the drummer duel cheerleaders
Oh yeah! It's that time again!
dude! i think that would be super neaat if you rated the megamix soundtrack! there are a bunch of unique songs, not just old ones
Came as fast as I could!
Please do Rhythm Heaven Megamix to complete the Saga.
Hey will you be doing rhythm Heaven Megamix? Just curious
I’ll probably get to it eventually
This guy needs more subs
Finally! The day is safed!;w;
19:37 So I'm not the only one then lol
Super monkey ball banana mania would be a great one for a soundtrack dive! Maybe you could even compare them to the originals.
My favorite remixes are 6 and 9...any clue why? Well... Space soccer
I suggest Hollow Knight's OST if you ever get the chance; Christopher Larkin is, in my humble opinion, a genius.
He would have to play the whole game completely and somehow manage to beat Abs Rad to get that ost and recognize the epicness. I dont think he could nor wish he to go through Pantheon of Hallownest.
@@dr.zapatoso7220 Worst case scenario, he could watch an LP. Not ideal, but still.

Heh, guess in Remix 7 the ghosts didn't have a time limit like they did in their own game.
Let's go
next time can you review the terraria calamity mod soundtrack please?
Nice
Please do Super Meat Boy, I would be very thankful.
For remix 3 it's romance I think?
No, it has.. I quote, “A tropical/samurai/spaghetti vibe”
