I learned alot from this that I didn’t already know, thank you! Just a technical note: I grew up in the area where the Scioto river empties into the Ohio river. We always pronounced Scioto with the “c”being silent, in other words- Sioto. Maybe both are acceptable, I don’t know.

Cows are grazers. Deer are browsers. They dont eat the same food. In fact by cutting down trees theres more available browse for deer and the deer population increases.
If youre going to talk about these things and places, you should make a tiny effort to at least pronounce them. Theres no such thing as iraqwa. Spell it. Iroquois. Quoi isnt qwa.

We sometimes pronounce the town of Du Bois as Du Bwa because it was originally French. Maybe that is what he is doing, saying it like a Frenchy
I say it that way as well
