There are lots of videos on UA-cam about Bangkok, mostly red-light and the Grand Palace etc. So its really great that you have taken the time and trouble to show us some of Bangkok's lesser known gems - please keep it up 🙂
I actually just uploaded a grand palace video haha im trying to juggle search friendly videos to build my audience and unique original content to please the audience I already have :) going to take some time and a few more "its been done before" videos... but hopefully I can put my own spin on things and present places well visually
Thais are an incredibly friendly people, especially in residential areas. I made so many friends there when I lived in Bangkok. Can't wait to get back now the pandemic is under control.
I’m really liking your channel. Production is high quality and you’ve got some interesting content, served up with lots of enthusiasm. Well done! This was a great video and something new to me…and yes, I have visited Jodd Fairs, which is great but a bit ‘sanitised’ if that makes sense.
Thanks a lot Simon.. trying to keep on top with my quality.. it’s here to stay! Jodd is over rated as a night market to be honest but it has a prime location. I know a couple more decent night markets so stay tuned for those in the future
I think theres another one in Northaburi as well that I have not visited yet.. Ill have to check them all out and see what ones make the cut for a video or not
@@ProjectBangkok Not a night market, but Tonsak Market near Phra Nang Klau has great food vendors and restaurants and just might be the cleanest market in Bangkok metro, you should check it out. If you like burgers, you need to go to Amante's, its excellent.
I wouldn’t have a clue to be honest with you.. would have to google it. And nah not recommendations.. there’s so many hotels and Airbnb here your spoilt for choice
Looks fantastic! Reminds me of the time I ended up doing a border run (to renew the tourist visa) from Malaysia across to Hat Yai, and travelled back to Alor Setar with an extra 15kg of clothes I'd bought! I'd only gone across for the weekend!!
@@ProjectBangkok luckily for me I didn't get that problem. Amazingly I actually still have some t-shirts that have lasted from my trip out there in 2001!
Speaking of the Owl Night Market… have you been here since you made this video? It’s much bigger now. Super busy on the weekends. We had to get our food to go on a Friday night. No seats lol. Awesome videos. Thanks for the hard work 😊
Great video! I’m traveling to Thailand in November and have a question. Do you have to wear a mask everywhere in Thailand even outside? What happen if you don’t?
Hey AK! For the most part you are expected to wear it at all times.. but some areas like Sukhumvit at night some people dont and Pattaya is relaxed a bit about it also. You just get a funny look if you dont wear it to be honest.. 99% of Thais are wearing them properly all the time so its good to be respectful to them as well regardless of how we feel about the situation ya know
Yeah I think most the rest of the world is done with it now.. this has been a touchy subject with some viewers so I won’t comment much more on it AK haha When I left London to move here nobody had them on at all.. and that was 6 months ago
I stumbled upon this video and am glad I did! I live in Bangkok and plan to go here soon to shop and make a video for my little channel lol ! Thanks for the info! I subscribed too.
Its all good Frank.. These videos are just my opinion and to share with people.. Jodd's is good but I hate the lack of seating to enjoy the amazing food there
Thanks for watching everyone! Find the market here: goo.gl/maps/7UrUf6xhjCQCMeXWA
Nice drone shots really adds to it and great video can't wait to get back to Thailand!

I think the people here are the main reason to fall in love with the country.. as well as 1000 other things of course haha
Thanks for sharing with us this latest Vlog I’ll definitely check it out when I’m in Bangkok. Good work by the way with your channel.
Thanks Paul.. seems to be heading the ryt direction.. getting excited for it all now… will try bring you guys some more new places like this I think

I am so glad I got this video 💜 visiting this November . Could you help me with the timings please. ?
Sorry bud but I don’t have time to help people personally.. it’s just not practical for me. I’m happy the video helped though
@@ProjectBangkok no no I am
Not asking to help personally I wanted to know the timings of this market :)

Went there a week ago and they have expanded it slightly.. gets better and better
Never heard of that one before, good find.
Cheers Simon.. more to come!

Is the dynasty inn hotel on soi 4 open? Do you have any recommendations for hotels?
I wouldn’t have a clue to be honest with you.. would have to google it. And nah not recommendations.. there’s so many hotels and Airbnb here your spoilt for choice
I just found this awesome. I'm coming in May. Wanting to visit lots of night markets etc.
I'm staying near Nakon Charoen Rd, so hope not too far🤔
Looks fantastic! Reminds me of the time I ended up doing a border run (to renew the tourist visa) from Malaysia across to Hat Yai, and travelled back to Alor Setar with an extra 15kg of clothes I'd bought! I'd only gone across for the weekend!!
Haha sounds like me.. only problem I find with the clothes here is that they can shrink
@@ProjectBangkok luckily for me I didn't get that problem. Amazingly I actually still have some t-shirts that have lasted from my trip out there in 2001!
You should also try to go to the World Market. Its abit on the outskirts of Bangkok.
I will have to take a look... I might grab a motor bike for one month to explore some of these other places
One question, name d MRT 2 get there?? Tq
I show at 1:05 the MRT Yaek Northaburi station :)
@@ProjectBangkok I will b trotting in coming Dec 2022, tq

I have actually.. looks much bigger and most of it is under shelter now so that’s good! Ill do an update video for there in the new year I think
Any idea if it’s opened on weekdays ?!
@@Nico_Benidorm360 it’s open every day
@@Nico_Benidorm360 yes. It’s open 7 days
Interesting NIghtmarket. It seems I can find some geeky stuff there. Btw. I like the Flag at 10:30 :D
Yeah there’s something for everyone.. I want to cover more places like this if I can.. just not good for the search algorithm unfortunately

I bet your counting down the days Danny!
I guess its a bit far from sukhumvit ?
I put the link is the comments and description
the cheap stuff is for thai people, the goods are old and usually only small sizes. Jodd Fairs is way better for us falangs. my opinion
Its all good Frank.. These videos are just my opinion and to share with people.. Jodd's is good but I hate the lack of seating to enjoy the amazing food there
