@Química I know! I still hunt up routines like Browning's Brick House, Chairmen, Witt's The Only One, Torvill and Dean's Hat Trick (LOVE that one so much!). Paul Wiley was really good too.
Best. Footwork. Ever! I saw him on his retirement tour. His first skate, skated round rink once, then at on end he grabbed a rope, swung out over end zone, swung back over ice, let go, dropped about six feet, and immediately did a triple axel! He was off and gone and the rest of the crew never looked back. We were about fours from ringside, I got my tickets as soon as they went on sale!! It was wonderful, fun and so entertaining! This group was and still is the best at all around technique AND entertainment!! Incomparable! 👏👏💗💛😂😂👵🇺🇸
Scott Hamilton was an incredible skater, a genius! I am 66 years old, and when I was 19 I lived in Montecito Ca. in a mansion on the beach. I was lucky enough to have a job with Michael Butler, the producer of the musical HAIR! Michael had to be one of the most down to earth gentleman I have ever known. yeah... I'm braggin, but those were some awesome days, a very long time ago...

What talent - to do a complete wardrobe change while skating a great performance. I can't even imagine trying to zip those bell bottoms while doing the sit spin at 2:20. Amazing.
I had to go back and rewatch to figure out how and when he did that! Amazing! Scott, you are awesome. What an amazing costume change on top of just Top Notch skating. Still in awe about the bell bottoms. WOW.

Holy cow!!!! Had to go back and watch as well. I had no idea and I’ve probably seen this dozens of times if not more. I saw the rest of the costume change but totally missed that. Still amazing me after all these years!! What a consummate athlete and performer!!!
I attended the taping of one of the Stars on Ice shows. Scott Hamilton was the Master of Ceremonies. He has a wicked sense of humor & is incredibly entertaining. We also share a Birthday. Hurray!! He is & always will be one of my favorite skaters.
I saw Scott perform in Sun Valley. He is such a Phenomenal skater! He skates with ease and grace while being a grand showman! No one has come close to matching his all-around talent, in my opinion. I am thankful he is staying healthy.
I was at the Stars on Ice show at the Palace of Auburn Hills(Michigan) when I saw this program, I think we had 2nd or 3rd row seats--TOTALLY AWESOME ! I bought a t-shirt with a picture of Scott in costume on it, and an autographed photo ; (no, didn't meet him) but will always have great memory and souveniers. Scott's STILL the greatest! ♥. The Palace of Auburn Hills has since closed :-(
Best performance ever on ice by any skater……my respects. I can’t walk on flat ground at times without tripping and Scott Hamilton does back flips on blades on ice while changing his attire. A gifted performer.
Got Hamilton you are the greatest and nobody will ever touch you and even with the great skaters and the world in 2022 they don't even come close to the things that you could do. I love watching these. I saw Dorothy Hamill skating person a long time ago and she was the closest I've ever seen to anyone with your ability. Rock on brother

Men's skating was so much more enjoyable to watch before the advent of the "quad" jump. Now so many male skaters are jumping machines with no form or substance to their programs and when a near perfect technition like Jason Brown pops up all you hear from the bobbleheaded announcers (Tara Lipinski & Johnny Weir) is "but he doesn't have a quad"!!!
Candace Crocker I agree. Jason Brown has perfect technique and you can tell he really dosnt care about his score. He just wants to have fun. That's what makes him a pleasure to watch.
