I've seen the American equal to these several times but always passed on them, I regret doing that. I've since got a little bit older Dustettes that are chrome.
Had a couple of dustettes they were pretty good, this version you have to watch the dust cloud bag.

Do they need a suppressor nowerdays? it was for old TVs and Radios I believe
No they don’t. I normally remove the suppressors because they have a tendency to go BANG!
No suppressor is needed in the current day, and this is an exclusively British thing. maybe because people lives in flats that were smaller and closer together. here in USA old vacuums did not have those. i don't know when they were phased out. mid 70's or early 80s?
