Welp, this took longer to make than I wanted it to, but here it is! I think it was about 3-4 months. I had to put it off and come back to it a lot of times because of personal matters, but I'm glad it's finally finished!
I wanted to try my hand at actual animation instead of the usual easy stuff that I've been putting out. I even colored everything and threw in some effects! I also did a more basic version of the Champion's room from Origins, just added a seating area for Dan.
With that said, I probably won't be animating something like this again. I'll be going back to the animatic style for now, that way I can make longer videos with less stress and we can all be happy~ All in all, it was a new experience and I'm glad I did it. Hope everyone likes it!

Yeah, this was a good clip from the finale of Pokemon : Grumpy Red, Season 1, Episode (#). Too bad the rest of the season is lost, and they cancelled Grumpy Sun.

Buntd, A level 90 destroyer of worlds, is beaten by an armadillo with a pair of spoons.
Is Alakazam supposed to be an armadillo? I always thought he was something akin to a psychic cat, like Mewtwo.

Somebody remind me again how those two managed to lose with a pokemon with a, like, thirty level headway? Were they not healing the little bugger? Because I can see them forgetting they can do that.
Well, for starters, it's because Beedrill is weak and has bad moves and Bundt's going up against one of the original gen's strongest Pokemon, but also because Arin used motherfucking Pursuit two times because he only remembered Dark was strong against Psychic, instead of Twineedle which Beedrill would've gotten STAB on top of being supereffective.

I love how epic it is just so they can lose due to Arin’s stupidity.
Arin dragging his unconscious Beedrill out of the arena is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
friendly reminder that, by his own admission, arin was into competitive pokemon at some point, and yet, he used a 40 BP super effective move over a 40 BP super effective STAB move that hits twice.
He also used a Dark type attack, which was a Special Attack type at the time.

God, I always get goosebumps whenever I hear them scream “IT’S TIME TO BUNTD!!!” I guess because it’s so epic.

Sorry, I'm late to the party, but both of them screaming "IT'S DOWN TO BUNTD" and incorporating Beedrill's cry pumped me up for a moment I knew was doomed to fail anyway. Absolutely stellar moment of animation! Arin and Dan being drawn so pretty, the Rush reference you threw in, Arin dragging a fainted Beedrill out while yelling at Alakazam - I'm just in awe of your creative choices.
I know it takes longer, but I love this style. It's really good.

The reason why this is so much better than the anime is that 1) you’re not shoving stuff we already know down are throats and 2) you use the action move the battle. All in all, I love your work, keep being awesome!

Speaking as a watcher of all Grumps animations religiously, this is the freaking BEST ONE and its not even on their channel. The use of placement to sort the voice distance issues and the excellent animation, salamander is good, zelda animations at tops and this beast is king.

This is one of my favorite grumps animations. Its short, but so well animated and fills you with pokemon nostalgia.

Well for my just seeing this video in a "related videos", this is by far one of the greatest fan made animations of game grumps i've ever seen. Great art style! Great flow and scene transitions! The only thing i don't like is that you say you won't be doing more of these... you've earned a sub from me. Great work keep it up!

I admire the fact that Kirby Otaku actually draws Arin and Danny equally nicely!! a lot of animators only draw danny nicely because of his calm nature, but its always really nice seeing a nicely drawn Arin too!!
