Not much of a pursuit when there is only one vehicle. When he bails, no police for several minuets, only the heli. PD on donut run? They guy had time to make a sandwich before anyone showed up after he bailed.
@@Smorphi This video plainly shows they did not stop driving reckless. Not only that but now they will most likely victimize someone again. I mean what is the consequences here? I actually saw citizens doing more to stop them than the police. The police as you heard had called it off all together till they found out it was being televised.
@@jojr5093 Wonder if the owner of the truck is injured or worse? Wonder how many people they have assaulted or worse stealing their vehicles? That would include hitting them with said stolen vehicles. These are VERY dangerous people that are still on the streets. I think a damaged vehicle is a small price to pay to stop people that were on the edge of vehicular manslaughter. Not trying to be a Karen just being real.
here is a heads up from a former CHP dispatcher, first thing is traffic (light, heavy, stopped) second thing is what the vehicle stop is about (tail light out, speeding, murder, stolen ect) third is the safety of the motoring public (goes without saying), forth if the governor gives consent to pursue or not, and the 10-22 is not always calling off a pursuit but rather simply backing off and have air ships fallow or if California would stop being so cheap they could get probes and shoot them into the truck and fallow from a far but they won't
Second day in a row that some nutjob steals a truck and goes on what seems like a mindless joyride. If they keep deciding to not stop these idiots, it's going to become a daily sport to see if they can get away with it. What do they have to lose?
The problem is that vehicle is a weapon and you're allowing that weapon to continue . Why they don't Spike strip these things much sooner or pick them out I will never understand the liberal California legislature or whoever is in charge of this madness
We've been seeing car chases on LA Freeways about as long as there have been news helicopters. How come you haven't had a (lot of) conversations with the CHP, or cops in general, to learn their procedures. 40+ years and you are still guessing?
This is a daily event 😂😂😂😂😂
Stu is a legend

I just want to understand. So someone who has broke the law will quit breaking the law if you stop chasing them?
no, but they probably won't drive more reckless because getting chased

@@deadpolevault You think the owner of the truck isn't glad they ditched it?

Again ALhambra?! 7 in the morning?! Yesterday was good! Stu Mundel: i believe you had little sleep!
I’ve always liked Stu even though he tends to over exaggerate what is going on, however gotta love his humor and enthusiasm👍
Stu Mundel sounds like he's calling a ballgame.
You can set your watch by the pursuit in L.A.

For the time being.
You must be new to these. In California the criminal almost always gets away. Reminder to never vacation there.
