- Walter loved his squeaky toy but he didn't know where the sound was coming from; so he was getting adorably confused every time the ball squeaked... It's been 10 years since Walter was first confused by that toy so I wanted to upload a longer version of that video with some extra unseen footage. A snowy adventure with my Walter with his squeaky toy and his snowball butt...

Hi everyone. We haven't had any snow in our city this winter; so while I was browsing through our old snow videos, I realised that it's been 10 years since Walter was first confused by that squeaky toy. That's why I wanted to do this 10 year anniversary kind of video. And this time, I included the snowball butt bits too.
This video was shot in my grandmother's village which is in the Black Sea Region of Turkiye (1000kms away from our current home).

Bu kış hiç kar yağmayınca eski kar videolarımıza bir göz gezdireyim derken Walter'ın bu sesli toptan sebep kafasının karıştığı o videomuzun üzerinden tam 10 yıl geçtiğini fark ettim. Bu yüzden 10. yıl dönümü niyetine bu videoyu hazırladım ve bu sefer kar topu popo kısımlarını da ekledim.
Bu video şu anki evimizden 1000 km uzakta, Karadeniz Bölgesi'nde anneannemin köyünde çekilmişti.

For some reason, I didn't get a notification that this video posted. I used to have a Golden Retriever the same red shade as Walter, he was the best dog!

Aw, Walter's so cute playing and romping through the snow. He was definitely having a blast! His confusion about the squeaky toy checks out; my own Golden Retriever is also easily confused by just about everything! He loves the snow too and rolls and hops through it the same way Walter does. When my last dog was about a year and a half old, she had a rubber cheeseburger that squeaked. She would push on it with her nose to make it squeak and became very obsessive with that toy and then one day I saw she was developing slight swelling around her nipples. I took her to the vet, explained her obsessive behavior and he said it was a false pregnancy. Eventually, I had to remove the squeaker from the toy, but when ever I took her to the local pet store, she would go down the toy isle pushing her nose against the toys to hear them squeak.
Walter seems to have loved the snow as a young guy. It was great to watch.
