- This 8-bit RPG is a refreshing modern take on a classic gaming genre. It’s like a forgotten classic that has an amazing soundtrack, art style and creative direction that is just fun to play from start to finish.
You can play multiplayer co-op to invite your friends to help you mine, craft, cook and build as you progress through this magical fantasy world.
Along your way you will need to fight monsters, gather resources and vanquish bosses. Each victory and progression allows you to upgrade and unlock the secrets of the core.
The game has a full fishing, farming and cooking system that sees you spending hours wrapped up in the charm. The game is like a cross between Stardew valley and Minecraft.
Currently its available on Linux and Microsoft Windows through Steam.

Insanely well polished game. It does everything almost perfect. The building, exploring, crafting. It might sound stupid but even the music is absolutely top tier. On par for an alternative to minecraft.
Not me running after the loot while you drown in enemies ;D

Nitpick, but “8 bit” and “16 bit” and the like do not refer to resolution, but the color system. A 16x16 sprite is not inherently 16 bit. Its just 16 pixels wide by 16 pixels long, making it a 256 pixel sprite. Bits are binary digits, the number code that determine color in said pixels. In a 1 bit pixel, there are two states, 0 and 1, black and white. In a two bit pixel, there are two bits each with two states for four possible combos, 00, 01, 10, and 11. Three bits adds another, so base is 000, so for every bit added you get another two possible combos per previous combo. 2’s 00 gets divided into two states, 000 and 001. So each bit doubles the amount of possible colors. 8 bit, 0000 0000, means 256 possible colors. 24 bit is 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000, all for colors, and add 0000 0000 as transparency bits and thats 32 bit.

I like it alright, but for the time being it’s just too quick of a playthrough. Definitely looking forward to more content to give it a bit more play time.
what about survival aspect of the game? Are there any enemies waves stopping you from evolve? Or it's just another pointless sandbox where you're crafting just because and survival word in description means nothing

Game is fantastic. You have to stay fed and healthy while exploring and keep your tools in good shape.
