    How do the crankshaft gets lubricated? Wherein there's no oil inside the crankcase?

    • @green-crocs-fixes1520
      @green-crocs-fixes1520  3 роки тому +5

      Hi Noel,
      this is a two stroke engine, there is no Sump or Valves as in a normal four stroke engine. The engine is lubricated by two-stroke oil which is mixed in with the Petrol. It was the lack of two-stroke oil that caused damage to this engine.
      Hope this helps.

    Hallo , nice works . Can you tell me , what are the signs whan is cylindar damaged ? If is low compresion and pistons and ring were replaced and still can't make explotion inside with fuel , is that cylindar problem ? On the bottom where is cylindar bolts I can see a fuels go out from cylindar , whan I pull up the starter , and also air comes out from inside , so my thinking is that is probably reason why he didn't start yet ! Yesterday I also watch bearings and semerings and may can be also problem and can make low presure from down , so I test electronic but it seems good because I have good contact with spark and resist 6K, and also can make fire whan I pot spark on fuel outside, so what can be a problem exept compression ? I can t diagnose nothing more , so what you think , is cylindar problems or bearings ?? I tried to describy you , so I hope so you will find the answere .

      Hi Branislav,
      the engine will not start with low or no Compression, you should be able to feel the Compression resistance when pulling the cord to start the engine. You have replaced the Piston Rings however if the Cylinder is damaged then this will cause Compression issues. Are you able to feel a juddering resistance and not just a straight forward pull when cranking ? Your Ignition sounds ok but then there is the Fuel, could be an issue with the Carburettor ? Try pouring a small cap full of fuel into the engine via the Carburettor with the machine on its side by removing the Air Filter (open the throttle) then make sure the switch is off, pull the Cord slowly once so the Fuel go into the Engine. Place the unit upright, switch on and try starting the machine.

      @@green-crocs-fixes1520 Yes I did this with pouring gasoline inside cylinder behind carburator , and than I tried to start but nothing, actually flame is inside but that is not enough without pressure , pressure makes to pistons goes up and down. I changed rings and pistons but I still not changed cylinder, tomorrow I will, but only that is a left as a possible reason why machine don't work ! Grass cutter are very complicate and so much problems with them always something is bad, So is better not buy some machine if is low price , because that means that is a very bad products , is better no have nothing than something what is a weak !! For quality is need to pay much more , for example about 700 $ for some average machine . Product from China , no definitely better is quite !! Parts for this cheap machine are expensive and quality is poor , that is a nothing . Carburator are the worst part . I can see a gasoline behind crankshaft on my trimer so fuel going out from cylinder down ! I don't have tools for see a compression level but problem is there .

    • @green-crocs-fixes1520
      @green-crocs-fixes1520  7 місяців тому

      @@branislavpanic362 the problem is not with the price of the machine as I have repaired many of these and most of them have the same Chinese parts on the inside yet branded with a high end manufacture. Also most of these are handed to me not working due to lack of maintenance or no two-stroke oil added, like the one in this video. The replacement Cylinder/ Piston kits (from china) are a hell of a lot cheaper.

    • @branislavpanic362
      @branislavpanic362 7 місяців тому +1

      Can problem with compression be in crankshaft seals ? Do you have some video about that ? No, price is a really importan when we need get good decision what to buy . I purchased one used cutter grass from Germany and I never had a problem , and I use that almost 3 years.. So every product from China is very weak , therefore is not so expensive. Japan makes the very good products , also USA makes good things and Germany . That is already prooved .

      Hi Reginald,
      not sure that I fully understand your question however, if there is too much oil in the Fuel mixture, then you cannot get an ignition to start the engine. So the Fuel system will have to be drained off. And if the Pull Cord does not crank the engine over, then there is probably an issue with its Ratchet mechanism engaging,

    Wonder If you could give me any advice on my strimmer, it looks pretty much identical to this one. I seem to have really high compression to the point it's incredibly hard to pull the starter. With the plug out it spins fine.

    • @green-crocs-fixes1520
      @green-crocs-fixes1520  2 роки тому +2

      Hi DMUSK,
      A high compression is good however too much will require some Spinach for breakfast!
      Seriously though, sounds like you have liquid fuel inside of the Cylinder which will make it almost impossible to turn over. Naturally no Spark Plug in place will leave zero compression.
      Suggest removing the Plug, cranking the engine a few times then let it sit for half hour. Then fit a new or clean Spark Plug.
      You may want to ensure that you're getting a Spark at the plug also as if not the constantly priming the Carburettor will cause a build up of fuel.
      Finally a faulty Carburettor may let liquid fuel into the engine instead of a Fuel and Air mixture.
      Sorry for the long-winded response,
      Regards 😂.

I noticed you didn't use any bolt sealant /thred locker with the head bolts. I am finding contradictory advise online. When I check the bolts I took out, they have a whitish deposit on the lower half of the threads indicating something was used but I am unsure if I should apply some sealant OR should I do some sort of grease OR just stick the bolts in as it is ?
