My 65 qt in tin 10 just arrived yes yesterday too bad I've been too busy with work to open the Box and really get to know it But I literally wanted an Arctic cooler tick cooler for probably 3 years now and I finally broke down and got one I can't wait to take it on my 1st camping trip
Nice reviews of the 52 and 65. I'm currently trying to figure out which to go with. Are these coolers actually different sizes? I've seen where the yeti 65 is equal to the RTIC 52.
No the 65 is way bigger than the 52. 52 is heavy when filled but you can manage it. The 65 is hard to carry empty and you’ll need someone to help you carry it loaded.
I have a Best Xanadu Life beach wagon that we got on Amazon a few years ago. The cooler fits perfectly in it but it doesn't leave a lot of room for much else.

It should treat you well when you go camping, but remember the 65 is quite heavy when you have it loaded down

When I go camping I always throw salt on the ice. It will hold a long time.
Thats not a bad idea, I've never thought to just throw salt onto the ice.
