Thanks for this tip. I am about to convert my printer as soon as I get my CISS ink system kit comes. I will watch your channel for any other tips that will help me
I absolutely missed where you mentioned not wanting to push it too far back to avoid the paper jam error. I slimmed it down, but didn't shorten the length. I removed the dowel from the other side like you suggested, but I'm still getting the paper jam error. Any ideas? I think I just totally killed my printer **sigh** (obviously my fault for being so eager to fix the issue and not catching the full details).
Hi! I'm having bad banding issues. I've cleaned my printhead thoroughly, done nozzle checks, checked the alignment, and I still cannot get rid of these horizontal lines throughout my prints. Can you please help?
Did you put slit in the dowel or just filed it down? I tried and had it small. It got stuck in printer and I couldn't get it out with the rat tooth comb. Printer was making a loud noise once I inserted the dowel. What am I doing wrong? Any additional information would be helpful. I raised the heads on both sides before inserting the dowl. Still get streaks. So frustrating. THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!
@klutchkreationz I ordered cadlink software and almost done installing..stopped at the install printer step since I don't have it connected just yet...I am so new to this what is rip software? Do I need that in addition to cadlink?
No. It was just inside the edge as it should be. However I found a Facebook group with a really different setup of the software and it solved all my issues and I don’t need the dowel
Both me and my husband want to thank you for your information, it definitely fixed our problem... u dah best boo 🤗

It could be a bad print head. Have you did a wet paper towel soak?
Try changing paper settings thru software I use acrorip and in settings I use plain paper and med and large dot size
Do we add it on both sides or just one?
It can only go In on the left

It cant be too small. It most likely fell out if you don’t see it. Look in the silver part where the print head glides across to see if you see it.
Hey I did what you said and it fell inside the print head so you know how to get it out? It makes a noise and gives paper jam
@@virginiapike3690 hey on the video it shows how to get it out and be careful
Could you please provide measurements for your dowel? How long is it and how thick etc.
@@MarkOrstedHi, I tried use your this size
Oak Dowel Pin 1/4” x 1 1/4”
how do i clear the code?
Whats the code?
What did you use to file it down

I've tried this and i get a "grinding" noise and an error 31 every single time .. ideas?
Is your dowel under the print head too far?
No. It was just inside the edge as it should be.

@@MarkOrstedcan you share that link boss?
