The person would raise their arms, as if to cheer "Banzai, " so that the other person can take off their shirt for them. So Denji raising his arms is just an indication for Banzai. Weird translation, but I don't know what an alternative would be for Banzai.

I just hope we get a season 2 at all at this point since I saw some people saying that the show wasn't profitable enough especially in Japan though I guess they based that solely on the blu ray sales so we'll see.
@@markomaksimovic7678 yeah I think there will be a season 2 or a movie mappa most likely made money back from streaming rights alone (all major streaming site except disney+ has chainsawman) adding in merch sales and viewership at the time it air (one of the biggest during its air days even though it air on midnight) Chainsaw man made alot of money so there will most likely be a season 2 or atleast a movie
Amazing breakdown, I thoroughly loved every second of it. The new format of episode analysis with the side cam works better in my opinion at identifying elements play by play. It's nice to see there as people as passionate about Fujimoto's segments as I am! Aki's slide, then rush into his counterattack displays such rounded knowledge of the human anatomy. The highlight of that fight for me was Fujimoto's weighty swings of Katana Man's arms only emphasised by the camera work. I could gush about this episode for ages, Gosso is and will always be the GOAT.
Man you deserve way more subs, it was a very satisfying watch and I loved how you broke the animations down and even expanded on some other work of the animators to explain things. Super cool stuff
I always learn more about shows when I watch your videos. I didn’t know the curse devil actually physically moved aki. I just thought it cursed whatever it sliced and never even noticed those frames
51:33 remember how Himeno revived Denji in ep 7 during the eternity devil fight by pulling his rip chord Similarly, Katanaman's trigger for his transformation is pulling out his hand like in ep 12, so the snake girl ( Akane ) basically did that here to revive him The first time I saw this ep I actually didn't even notice that katanaman was cgi for a good portion of it lol
in the next jjk season will have a jogo fight on top of buildings with some amazing perspective panels, if shota Goshozono direct that I will be happy, i just need that based background my man
34:15 I think people complained about this scene because the manga gives the impression that the katana man is being bitten very hard and being crushed at the same time. At least this was the impression that i had.
24:53 funnily enough, csm part 2 has mostly been a slice of life romcom so far and it’s been REALLY fun, but of course with the most recent chapter shit has gone down like it always seems to in chainsaw man… anyways, amazing breakdown of an incredible episode

If Jigokuraku and JJK2 come out looking great without any clear production issue to be seen, I won’t question Mappa no more. They can announce new anime with 3 month schedule and I won’t doubt that it’ll look good 💀

Btw a question. Why Mappa couldn't convince kondansha for a better Marketing (like demon slayer) because The Marketing is zero for the last part? Mappa is in the production committee (i Know they ranked low but why they couldn't convince them that it makes more money at least). Also if Mappa can't do anything about The schedule or Marketing then What is the point of being in the production committee than a bit more money?
