Just want to check I have fitted the rev counter to my car but not yet Activated it Yet but noticed that the light does not come on at night time when I turn the lights on is that also activated at the same time??

Apologies for harsh words used in the past.Got everything worked out. Link bellow allows you to obtain stuff to carry out the coding.Once you have your DT2000 database unzipped copy its ECUS folder into DDT4ALL program's 🌲. Then when DDT4ALL is in use like in the video here , the database is detected/used to change the car's settings.

Ok, Thanks. I orderd a obd and hope to get the right support for the rear led lights. I have replaced the normal for them, but sometimes I get a small error lamp on my dashboard.

I have added the Rev & Clock, Android Radio, Rear View Camera, & Tweeter using your videos. All worked great, no problems. Also added Sirius to Android radio. I want to add Auto Wipers, how can I check to see if my car has the rain sensor ? Also, it appears i have to change out the wiper stalk for one that has the Auto position, please advise.

I have used the DDT4all and activated the revers camera for my smart forfour 2018, But still when I reversing I can see anything in the panel. Apprt from the ECU ,do I need to do any changes?

Hi, my smart is an auto but without paddle shift with the steering, I have the ddt4all and activate some times. do you think that if I change the steering to 1 with paddles it will work or also need coding? I would like to see the digital speed page on the cluster not the small one next to the temp but the full page.
Any update ? I have the same issue . I found the steering wheel with shifters on eBay but I’m not sure if I have to code it while installing it ..

Anyway to turn off electronic brake force? It cuts power/automatically breaks when the car feels any loss of traction.

I believe that can be taken care of by removing a fuse that disables all safety mechanisms. Fuse 15 maybe? Double check with the fuse box diagram for the glove box
Dan314159265 I tried disabling traction control by pulling the fuse. However he electronic brake force still activates when it senses any loss of traction.

I bought the obd the same as yours, I tried to download ddt4all from the link that you put in the description, but as soon as I press on "connect mode" button closes the program. can you help telling me step by step things to download and install? I've already tried two different obds, and I've also tried old versions of Python and it just works that the list of options is not like yours.
ok, I deleted all the files and I downloaded ddt4all again, now the application runs but when I do the scan, and push the "CAN" button does not work and the percentage of loading at the bottom remains at 0

Sorry, that was standard in the US. I didn't do anything in DDT4ALL to activate it.
Hi!! Do you know if there is an option to reactivate the partial odometer from reset? Normally it returns to zero after 4 hours without using the car but mine has stopped doing it and does not do the automatic reset
Sorry, I am not sure if that is possible. I haven't seen an option for that.

I have fitted my car with LED tail lights recently. When the car has the positioning lights turned on and the brake pedal is depressed the info. comes on the dash that says " tail lamps inoperative " even though they work just fine. Do I need coding to get rid of it?

Hey there, I'm interested in changing over my stalks for auto headlights and rain sensing wipers. Can you point me to where you bought these? Also, when I run my VIN through dataMB.com, it says mine is not equipped with the rain or light sensors. "V97 No rain/light sensor". So I'm thinking I'm screwed. Ideas?
Hi Mike - are you in the US? All Smart 453 are equipped with auto-light/rain sensor. For activate the auto-lights you just need to install the auto-light-stalk. No coding is required for this.
To activate the auto-wipers you must first install the stalk and then activate the coding (e.g. through DDT4ALL).
I bought the auto-light-stalk on Ebay, but I had to order the auto-wiper-stalk from Mercedes.

@@mrgreenhimself Thanks for the info. I'm in Canada. Weird that the VIN comes up delete on that. It 'looks' like the sensors are there. Do you have any part numbers for the stalks? No worries if not
@@MikeBasden Hi Mike - the part number for the auto-lights-stalk is A4535451600 (you may be lucky and find it on Ebay).
For the auto-wipers, there are a few version (the version for the cabrio will NOT have the option for rear wiper).
Version for coupe: A4539051501
Version for cabrio: A4539051101
(before ordering, you might want to confirm these numbers with a dealer)
