Basically, you only will use it when doing the models that require the FDRS which is not available to use as of now so to answer your question is your adapter is meaningless as of now. But probably in the near future, it will come back.
If this was an all keys lost situation with active alarm, would you still be able to complete the job with an IM508? Also was this an OEM remote or an already generated xhorse smart remote?
Haven’t got the chance to do this one with an active alarm, but I can tell you from my experience cars after 2019 or so customers always have the option to unlock from there phone so even if all keys lost, you can tell them to go on their Ford app or something like that and unlock the car so then the job will be very easy. Sometime they won’t know about this until you tell them. Regarding the key I think for 22 and up the generated one does not work. I have used an OEM
